What is Picsi.Ai?
Picsi.Ai is a face swap platform run by the team behind Inswapper, the open-source face swap model of the InsightFace project. The terms describe the company as a wholly owned subsidiary of InsightFace.Ai and the about page traces its lineage through research work such as ArcFace, SubCenter-ArcFace, VPL, RetinaFace, SCRFD, SDUNet and CoordinateReg, together with a first place at the ECCV 2022 WCPA Challenge, a first place at NIST-FRVT 1:1 VISA in 2021 and a second place at the WIDER Face Detection Challenge 2019.
The product is the same engine wrapped in six different surfaces. Face Swap Studio is the flagship web app; there are also a macOS app, an iOS app called Face Swap Live!, a Chrome extension, an Adobe Photoshop plugin and a Discord bot the site now labels Legacy. Studio v2 handles images, video in single and multi-face modes, and GIFs, targets faces in video from a reference photo, takes batches of up to ten target files of 30 MB each, and shows results in a lightbox across a three-panel layout.
Beyond swapping, PersonaMagic Canvas builds an entire image around a subject from a text prompt and up to fourteen reference photos, across three model tiers including Nano Banana 2. It can return two outputs from one job, the generated image and a face-swapped version, and the site claims 99% character consistency. The advanced controls are unusually deep: models Dax and Evi, Optimizer, Shapify with an intensity from 1 to 1000 defaulting to 600, Expressionify, Oldify and Youngify, Face Texturizer, Sharpen, and fixes for occlusion, hairline, eyes, ears and the chin and jawline.
Two currencies drive it. Daily credits cover ordinary swaps and reset at 0:00 UTC without rolling over; permanent Tokens bought separately are the only way to use PersonaMagic Canvas. The desktop and mobile apps add real-time LiveCam swapping, with macOS also offering screen capture and longer video limits as the tier rises. The interface is offered in thirteen languages, moderation is strict—no NSFW, and submissions are judged on intent as well as content—and the app page advertises a 5.0 rating from more than 26,000 reviews.

- Open Face Swap Studio in the browser, or install the macOS .dmg, the iOS app, the Chrome extension or the Photoshop .ccx from the site
- Upload one to four source faces; free accounts use a single source face applied automatically to the largest face detected, while paid accounts choose which face to replace
- Drop in the target images, videos or GIFs, up to ten files of 30 MB each
- Set the advanced options, from Optimizer and Shapify intensity to Expressionify and the occlusion and hairline fixes, then press Swap!
- Collect the results from the Studio within three days, after which they are removed automatically
- In Chrome, pin the extension, open its panel, sign in with Discord, upload up to four source faces, then right-click any image and choose Face Swap with Picsi.Ai

The lowest paid price point cannot be stated: the pricing page renders its amounts in JavaScript and no figure for Basic, Pro or Ultra appears in the page as served. The only monetary figure published anywhere on the site is the $420/yr value attributed to Ultra access on the Creative Partner Program page, which describes the most expensive tier and is therefore not an entry price. Token packs for PersonaMagic Canvas are separate one-off purchases and never expire. GDPR overview
The GDPR is never named. Neither the privacy policy (effective 25 September 2025) nor the terms (effective 25 August 2025) mention the regulation, and there is no claim of compliance and no denial either. The policy does grant rights that read like European ones—access, rectification, erasure, objection to processing and portability—all exercised by writing to contact@picsi.ai. What is missing is the machinery around them: no Article 27 representative in the EU, no named data protection officer, no data processing agreement offered, no list of named subprocessors, and no hosting country or region disclosed. Security measures are stated in general terms: encryption in transit and at rest, restricted access, regular audits, firewalled servers. Governing law is that of the People's Republic of China, with arbitration before CIETAC in Suzhou, conducted in Chinese, plus a waiver of jury trial and class actions.
Who owns the data?
Picsi.Ai keeps ownership of everything it publishes itself: its text, graphics and software belong to the company or its affiliates. Source images used to build a face ID are not stored at all, only a mathematical representation of the facial features. Rights over the output depend on the plan. Paying members may use their results commercially, provided both source and target are rights-cleared and provided Picsi.Ai is credited, including in the file metadata and EXIF. Free accounts get no commercial rights. Third parties whose likeness appears can write to requestremoval@picsi.ai to have existing content taken down, or future use of their face blocked in advance.
Reuse rights
Reuse is tied to the account. Paying members may reuse and monetize their outputs without asking anyone, on two conditions: the source and target images must be rights-cleared, and Picsi.Ai must be credited, file metadata and EXIF included. Free accounts may not use their images commercially and their results carry a watermark. On the company side, the privacy policy lists what is collected: account details from Discord or Google sign-in (handle, avatar, unique identifier, email), the content submitted, usage data such as which features and commands are used, and technical data including IP address, browser and operating system. The stated purposes are running and maintaining the service, processing requests and generating the images, improving and optimizing the product, communicating about the account and transactions, and meeting legal obligations. Sharing is limited to third-party service providers, payment processing being the example given, and to lawful requests. Every submission is reviewed for content and for intent, and cookies and tracking technologies are in use. One question the policy never addresses, in either direction, is whether customer content feeds model training.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The site publishes nothing about where the data physically lives. No hosting country, no region, no data centre provider and no list of subprocessors appears in the privacy policy or anywhere else on the site. What the policy does state is a set of security measures: industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, access restricted to authorized personnel, regular audits of security practices, and servers kept behind firewalls and monitored, followed by the usual caveat that no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. One storage location is named, and it is local: the iOS app keeps generated content on the device. Elsewhere, processing is described as temporary for web image swaps, and Studio results are held for three days. A technical note from our own checks, not a statement by the site: the domain resolves to an Amazon CloudFront edge node located in Italy. That identifies a content delivery point, not the jurisdiction in which data is stored, and nothing about hosting should be inferred from it.

- Daily credits reset at 0:00 UTC and never accumulate, so an intensive session cannot be spread across several days
- On the free tier, video swaps made through the Discord bot are posted in a public channel and can be neither made private nor deleted, while Studio creations are wiped after three days
- Any commercial use requires attribution to Picsi.Ai, including inside the file metadata and EXIF, a clause that is easy to breach without noticing
- Account syncing across Discord, Google, Stripe, Patreon and Apple depends on one identical email, Apple's Hide My Email breaks it, and no refund is given when an account is suspended for a breach of the terms
- The deeper risks are human: swapping someone's face without their consent is forbidden but technically trivial, no minimum age is stated anywhere, moderation judges intent as well as content so refusals can feel arbitrary, and any dispute falls under Chinese law with arbitration held in Chinese in Suzhou

A permanent free tier lets anyone test the engine before spending anything.
The reservations are commercial and legal rather than technical. Prices come first: the pricing page renders its amounts in JavaScript, so a prospective customer cannot compare Basic, Pro and Ultra without going through the checkout flow.
