Plansom is an AI work platform that turns a goal, an OKR or an uploaded document into a shareable, prioritised execution plan. Built for teams, founders, agencies and enterprises through its AI Plan, AI Manage and AI Execute tools.
What is Plansom?
Plansom is an AI planning and execution platform published by Plansom Limited, an Irish company based in Dublin. Its central promise is short: hand it a goal or a document and get a shareable execution plan back in about 60 seconds, with five minutes claimed to get started. The publisher calls the result an AI work OS, and organises it around three named tools.
AI Plan builds the plan. It accepts a free-text objective, a prompt template, or up to five uploaded files totalling 20 MB in csv, jpg, jpeg, docx, md, pdf, png, pptx, txt, xls and xlsx. It asks clarifying questions, then returns sub-goals and tasks with deadlines, owners and estimated hours, all editable and mergeable under a parent goal.
AI Manage runs the plan. Tasks are scored automatically and the tool points at the next highest-impact action, rather than leaving a flat list. AI Reporting produces progress reports on its own, bottleneck alerts fire before a plan slips, and success metrics define what counts as winning. Me, Team and Organization views show hours spent and the percentage of effort aligned with strategic goals.
AI Execute does part of the work. It takes instructions and produces the output: drafting documents, processing data, updating tasks, running recurring work, with a readable audit trail of what each agent did.
Sharing is the other differentiator. Every object has its own link, so a client or a subcontractor opens a plan without an account or a sign-up. Pre-built templates can be reused and shared, and a named AI Ambassador, a real person, sets up the pilot account, records a personalised walkthrough video and answers support requests.
The positioning is deliberate: where most tools report what is happening, Plansom claims to tell you whether you are winning, because every plan is built on goals with defined success criteria rather than tasks with statuses. It runs on Microsoft Azure, with AI processing on Azure AI, is sold through the Azure Marketplace, and uses Microsoft's Foundry SDKs to bring results management into Teams. Access is a web app installable as a PWA from Chrome; there is no native iOS or Android app. The founders are Anders Schonberg (CEO) and Chloe Schonberg (COO).

- Anyone under 18: the terms set the minimum age at 18, or the local age of majority where that is higher.
- Teams handling regulated or special-category data: the terms state the service is not designed for HIPAA protected health information, PCI-DSS payment card data, special categories of personal data, or data on children under 16 without the required consents.
- Buyers whose procurement demands a valid SOC 2 report or a published subprocessor list: Plansom advertises being built to SOC 2 standards, which is not a certification, and supplies its subprocessor list on request only.
- Developers looking for a public API or a native mobile app: neither exists, the product is a web app that Chrome can install as a PWA.
- People who simply want a personal to-do list: the publisher positions the product against plain task tracking, and the free tier caps you at 5 goals, 100 tasks and one AI Plan per month.

Plansom operates on a freemium model. A permanent free plan is available at no cost, with limited AI features. The lowest paid entry point is the Pro plan at 28.00 USD per user per month, or 280.00 USD per user per year, a saving the publisher states as 17%. A 30-day full-access trial is offered, with no credit card required and no automatic charge at expiry. Enterprise, agency and partner pricing is quoted on request. Billing is taken in advance, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until cancelled: monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period with no refund of partial months, and annual cancellation takes effect at the end of the twelve-month term with no refund of the unused portion unless the law requires one. In an organisation account, every active licence is billed on the same date regardless of individual use. Price changes are never retroactive, take effect at the following period and come with reasonable notice. One caveat: the home page's structured data still carries 25 USD monthly and 250 USD annually, and its FAQ quotes 25 EUR per user per month, so the 28.00 USD figure retained here is the one shown on the visible pricing grid.

GDPR overview
Plansom Limited is established in Ireland, so no Article 27 representative is required, and the site claims EU GDPR compliance. Section 9 of the terms is a full Article 28 Data Processing Addendum that prevails over the rest of the contract: processing on documented instructions, staff confidentiality and training, encryption, access controls, security assessments and pseudonymisation. Sub-processors are generally authorised but must be bound by written contract, with advance notice of any change and a right to object leading to termination and refund. Audits are allowed on 30 days' notice, though Plansom may substitute ISO or SOC 2 reports. Transfers outside the EEA rely on standard contractual clauses or adequacy. Breaches are notified without undue delay, and users within 72 hours. A Privacy Officer answers at support@plansom.com; CCPA and PIPEDA are covered. Policies effective 7 January 2025; Irish law governs.
Who owns the data?
Under section 10 of the terms you keep ownership of everything you upload, submit or generate, including the reports, analyses and results the service produces. Plansom claims no ownership over it, but takes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, sublicensable to its subprocessors, to use, reproduce, modify and process that material for the sole purpose of providing and improving the service. It commits not to use it for marketing or advertising, or to build unrelated products, without your explicit consent. Plansom Limited retains ownership of the platform itself: software, source code, algorithms, AI models, interfaces and trademarks. For GDPR you are the controller and Plansom the processor, except for the aggregated anonymised data it generates, where it acts as controller in its own right.
Reuse rights
Account creation collects your name, first and last name, email address, phone number, address, city, state or province, postal code and country; using the product adds your goals, tasks, usage statistics and the outcomes of goals and tasks. The stated legal basis is performance of the contract. Data is shared with third-party providers for analytics, customer support and payment processing, and disclosed where the law requires it. AI processing runs on Azure AI under Microsoft's terms. On training, the home page states plainly that your data is not used to train LLMs, while section 9.4 of the terms reserves the right to compile aggregated, anonymised or de-identified data from your usage, including machine learning models trained on data whose personal identifiers have been removed, and to use it for service improvement, new features, statistical reports and published usage trends. Automated decision-making is limited to AI recommendations and clustering on that aggregated, anonymised data, with rights to be informed, to obtain human intervention, to express your point of view and to contest the outcome. Opting out covers non-essential processing such as marketing communications only: the privacy policy, effective 7 January 2025, states that processing necessary for service functionality and improvement is non-optional. Cookies fall into four families, strictly necessary, performance and analytics, functionality, and targeting and advertising, and third-party cookies may be set. As for reuse, nothing in the terms restricts what you do with your own material: ownership stays with you, account settings let you view, correct and delete personal data, and the addendum lets you ask for everything back when the contract ends.

Plansom hosts on Microsoft Azure and describes data residency only as being in your region: no country and no region is ever named, which leaves the actual jurisdiction undeclared. AI processing runs on Azure AI and is governed by Microsoft's own terms. The publisher states encryption at rest and in transit, and the Data Processing Addendum adds access controls, regular security assessments and pseudonymisation or anonymisation where appropriate; the privacy policy describes industry-standard measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the data. Transfers outside the EEA or the UK to a country without an adequacy decision rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, an adequacy decision or another lawful mechanism, with details supplied on request. Independently, the domain resolves to 150.171.110.56, an anycast node in Microsoft's AS8075 located in Redmond, United States. That confirms the Azure infrastructure but says nothing about where customer data actually sits. If residency in a specific jurisdiction is a requirement, ask Plansom to confirm it in writing before signing.

- Handing prioritisation and execution to AI agents can quietly erode your own sense of what matters, since the tool picks the next highest-impact task and drafts the work. Read the agent audit trail, keep a human owner on every goal, and remember the terms exclude HIPAA and PCI-DSS data and require users to be 18 or over.
