Overview

What is PostSyncer?

PostSyncer is a social media management platform built around a single promise: create once, share everywhere. One calendar plans and publishes to eleven or more networks, namely X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Telegram, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon. What sets it apart from the schedulers it compares itself to is that the same product exposes three different surfaces over one shared calendar: a browser dashboard, an AI Studio, and a Model Context Protocol server paired with a REST API.

In the browser, posts are dragged onto a visual calendar or dropped into a queue. The scheduler handles multi-part threads on X, Bluesky, Threads and Mastodon, multi-image carousels, Reels and Shorts, custom video thumbnails, scheduled first comments, automatic insertion of links and hashtags, and publishing to X Communities. Bulk scheduling accepts a CSV or Excel upload covering up to thirty days of content, and media can be pulled in from Google Drive or Unsplash.

The AI side has two halves. AI Studio generates images and short videos, naming Veo 3, Sora 2 and Nano Banana Pro among its modes, and draws on a monthly credit allowance. The AI Content Agent takes a URL, a PDF, an image, a video or plain text, researches the topic, then produces captions and media reshaped for each platform, which is also how the Blog to Social feature repurposes long-form articles.

For agents and developers, an MCP endpoint at postsyncer.com/mcp speaks Streamable HTTP and exposes more than forty structured tools covering workspaces, accounts, labels, campaigns, posts, media, folders, comments and analytics. It authenticates either through a personal Bearer token or through a connector authorisation that needs no token at all. Alongside it sit REST API v1, OAuth2, an SDK, webhooks, OAuth delegation and an npm CLI.

Team features round it out: unlimited members on every paid plan with no per-seat fee, roles, approval workflows, separate workspaces per brand or client, labels, a media library, a unified comment inbox with AI auto-replies, contact management and real-time analytics. The homepage claims 75,000 or more creators use it.

What it does

  • Schedule one piece of content and publish it to 11+ networks from a drag-and-drop calendar
  • Generate captions, hooks, hashtags, images and short videos in AI Studio and the AI Content Agent
  • Hand the connected accounts to an AI assistant, whether Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex or OpenClaw, through the MCP server
  • Publish programmatically through REST API v1, OAuth2, webhooks, an npm CLI, n8n, Make.com, Zapier or a cron job
  • Gather every platform's comments in one inbox, filter spam around the clock and auto-reply with AI
  • Track performance in real time by post, by account and by workspace
  • Run a team with unlimited members, roles, approval workflows and one workspace per brand or client

When to use PostSyncer / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if PostSyncer is the right fit.

When to use PostSyncer

  • Solo creators and freelancers who post to several networks and want one calendar instead of eleven browser tabs
  • Small agencies juggling multiple client brands, thanks to separate workspaces and unlimited team seats on every plan
  • Indie founders and SaaS makers promoting several products from a single set of connected accounts
  • Developers and automation builders who publish from scripts, webhooks, a CLI, n8n, Make.com or Zapier
  • Heavy users of AI assistants who would rather draft, schedule and reply from Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT than from a dashboard

When not to use PostSyncer

  • Anyone who needs a permanently free tier: the scheduling product only offers a 7-day trial on its three paid plans
  • Mobile-first teams: there is no iOS, Android, desktop or browser-extension build, only the web app and the API
  • Organisations with procurement or audit requirements: no Data Processing Agreement, no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate, no named hosting country
  • Social teams that need Reddit, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Discord, Twitch or Google Business Profile, none of which are among the eleven supported networks
  • Paid-media buyers: the product covers organic scheduling, engagement and analytics, not ad campaign management

How to use PostSyncer

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account with an email address or through Join with Google; the 7-day trial charges $0.00 on the day of signup
  2. Connect your social accounts through each platform's official OAuth flow, since passwords are never stored
  3. Pick or create a workspace, using one per brand, client or project
  4. Invite teammates, assign their roles and switch on the approval workflow if content needs sign-off
  5. Compose a post yourself, or feed AI Studio and the AI Content Agent a URL, a PDF, an image, a video or plain text
  6. Generate an image or a short video in AI Studio if you need visuals; each generation draws on your monthly AI credits
  7. Pull media in from Google Drive, Unsplash or the built-in library
  8. Drag the post onto the calendar or send it to the queue, then set the first comment, Auto Plug and labels
  9. For volume, import a CSV or Excel file covering up to thirty days of content
  10. To drive it from an AI assistant, take a Bearer token from Settings then API Integrations and point your MCP client at postsyncer.com/mcp, or authorise PostSyncer as a connector and skip the token

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how PostSyncer handles your data.

GDPR overview

Compliance is claimed rather than documented. The only GDPR statement anywhere on the site sits in the homepage FAQ, which says PostSyncer is fully GDPR compliant and undergoes regular security audits. The privacy policy itself, effective 25 February 2025, never uses the word GDPR, cites no legal basis and no article. There is no Data Processing Agreement, no Article 27 EU representative, no data protection officer, no subprocessor list and no stated retention period. International transfers are announced without naming a transfer mechanism or a destination country. The policy does enumerate data subject rights, namely access, rectification, erasure, marketing opt-out, withdrawal of platform permissions and data export, but sets out no procedure and no deadline, and the only contact address published on the site is a general support mailbox. Google API Limited Use requirements, by contrast, are spelled out precisely.

Who owns the data?

The terms are explicit about ownership. You keep every right to the content you publish through the service, and PostSyncer states it claims no ownership over what its AI generates; the company retains only its own software, code, trademarks and documentation. What it holds about you is broader: OAuth access tokens for each connected account, profile data, published posts, analytics and audience insights, plus billing and usage data. Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-CBC and MAC-signed, and social passwords are never stored. Data may be shared with service providers and partners, with the connected platforms, with law enforcement on legal request, and with other parties only on your explicit consent.

Reuse rights

Yes, and without asking. The terms grant commercial usage rights over everything the AI produces: images, videos, captions and other visuals may be published, monetised and distributed across social platforms, in advertising and in client projects, with no additional attribution and no prior permission. Content you upload yourself remains yours throughout, and the privacy policy gives you the right to export your data. Two limits survive. You must still comply with the rules of each connected network, which the terms restate at length for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and LinkedIn, and you remain fully responsible for what you post, including a warranty that it infringes nobody else's rights.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
The privacy policy sets no figure. It says information is kept for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, and that data is securely deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed. No period is given for any category of data, and nothing is said about what happens to data after an account is closed, even though the terms allow suspension or termination for policy violations, prolonged inactivity or at your own request. You can ask for your data to be deleted, export it, and withdraw the permissions granted to connected platforms, but no procedure and no response deadline are published, and the only address available for making such a request is the general support mailbox.

Hosting summary

The site publishes nothing about where data physically lives. No hosting provider, no country and no region is named anywhere in the privacy policy, the terms or the product pages, and the policy limits itself to saying data may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards in place, without identifying the mechanism or the destination. What is defined is the contractual jurisdiction: the terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware with exclusive jurisdiction of Delaware courts, and the company's published address is in Dover, Delaware. Security measures are documented in more detail than location: encryption in transit and at rest, OAuth access tokens encrypted with AES-256-CBC and MAC-signed through OpenSSL, access controls limited to authorised personnel, regular security assessments and threat monitoring. No subprocessor list is published, although the terms name OpenAI and Google as AI infrastructure providers in an explicitly non-exhaustive way. There is no Data Processing Agreement and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification on the site.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting PostSyncer.

  • The tool holds OAuth tokens for every account you connect, so a single compromised PostSyncer login exposes your entire social presence at once
  • Delegating to an AI agent over MCP, especially through a token-free connector, lets a model publish, reply and delete in your name with no mandatory human review step
  • The terms prohibit spam and spam-like behaviour and allow immediate suspension, so a badly tuned automation can cost you the connected accounts rather than just a post
  • AI auto-replies answer real people in public and under your brand's name, which makes a tone-deaf generated reply a reputational event, not a draft
  • Convenience invites volume: publishing everywhere in one click makes it easy to flood every network with the same generated content and quietly erode a distinctive voice
  • Neither the hosting country nor a retention period is published, and nothing in the policy says whether customer data trains models, so silence should not be read as a commitment
  • AI credits do not roll over and any refund right disappears the moment the first credit is spent, which pushes you to consume before you have finished evaluating
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Two very different levels. The no-code path is close to trivial: sign up by email or Google, connect each account through its official OAuth flow, and start dragging posts onto the calendar, which the homepage sums up as no code and no setup. The agent and developer paths take a little more: you fetch a Bearer token from Settings then API Integrations and point an MCP client at postsyncer.com/mcp, or authorise PostSyncer as a connector with no token at all. Per-client setup pages and public API documentation are provided. Nothing needs installing for normal use.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which social networks does PostSyncer publish to?
Eleven or more: X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Telegram, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon. The site says platform support keeps expanding on the back of user feedback. Networks such as Reddit, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Discord and Google Business Profile are not on the list.
Is there a free plan, and what does the cheapest paid plan cost?
No permanent free plan for the scheduling product. All three tiers open with a 7-day free trial that charges $0.00 on the day of signup. The cheapest paid entry point is Starter at USD 29 per month, or USD 24 per month when billed annually, since yearly billing takes 20% off. More than 100 ancillary free utilities are also offered separately, with no registration.
How many people can use one account?
Unlimited team members on every paid plan, with no per-seat fee. Each member can be given roles and permissions, and an approval workflow decides who may draft and who may publish. What varies between plans is the number of connected social accounts, which is 10, 15 or 30, and the number of workspaces.
What is a workspace and how many do I get?
A workspace is a separate space for one brand, client or project, with its own connected accounts, calendar and members. Starter includes 1, Pro 2 and Pro Plus 3, with extra workspaces available on any plan for USD 19 per month each. Note that the homepage FAQ and the pricing table disagree on the Pro figure, so confirm it before buying.
How do AI credits work?
Credits are consumed by text, image and video generation. They refresh at the start of each billing cycle, do not roll over, and can be topped up. The pricing table allocates 1,000 per month on Starter and Pro and 2,000 on Pro Plus, though the homepage FAQ quotes 200 for Starter, which is another published inconsistency worth checking.
Can an AI assistant run PostSyncer for me?
Yes, and that is one of its distinguishing features. An MCP server at postsyncer.com/mcp speaks Streamable HTTP and exposes more than forty structured tools across workspaces, accounts, labels, campaigns, posts, media, folders, comments and analytics. You authenticate with a personal Bearer token or, in clients that support it, by authorising PostSyncer as a connector with no token. Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT connectors, Codex and OpenClaw are all named as supported clients.
Is there an API, and are there posting limits?
Yes. REST API v1 is public, with OAuth2, an SDK, webhooks, OAuth delegation and an npm CLI, documented on docs.postsyncer.com. Daily posting limits depend on the plan: 100 posts per day on Starter with 10 per platform, 250 with 25 per platform on Pro, and 500 with 50 per platform on Pro Plus.
Can I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancellation is possible at any time with no fee, and the account stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are narrower: they are granted only if no AI credit has been consumed, within 7 days for a monthly plan and within 30 days for an annual one. Once a single credit is used, the purchase is final.
How is my data protected, and is PostSyncer GDPR compliant?
Social passwords are never stored, connections go through official OAuth flows, and access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-CBC and MAC-signed, with encryption in transit and at rest. The homepage FAQ claims full GDPR compliance, but the privacy policy never mentions GDPR and publishes no Data Processing Agreement, no Article 27 representative, no subprocessor list and no retention period. Treat the claim as stronger than the documentation behind it.
Is there a mobile app, and is there an age limit?
There is no iOS, Android, desktop or browser-extension version; the product is used in the browser, through the API, through the MCP server or through the CLI. The terms require users to be at least 18 years old, and the privacy policy states the service is not intended for children under 18.
Conclusion

Should you pick PostSyncer?

PostSyncer is a young product with an unusually wide surface for its price. Launched around the start of 2025, it does what every social scheduler does, a visual calendar publishing to eleven or more networks, but adds two things its stated rivals rarely bundle at this tier: generative image and video tooling inside the subscription, and a fully documented MCP server plus REST API available from the entry plan. If your workflow already runs through Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT, or through n8n, Make.com or Zapier, that combination is genuinely hard to match at USD 29 per month with unlimited team seats and unlimited posts.

The reservations are about transparency rather than features. The company shows a Delaware address in Dover and Delaware governing law, but no legal form, no about page, no contact page, nobody named as running it, and one single support address for everything including privacy requests. Compliance is claimed in a homepage FAQ sentence while the privacy policy never mentions GDPR, names no hosting country, quantifies no retention period, publishes no Data Processing Agreement and lists no subprocessors. The pricing page contradicts its own FAQ twice, on Starter credits and on Pro workspaces, and the 4.8 out of 5 rating over 2,500 reviews exists only as self-declared structured data on the site.

So the fit is clear-cut. For a solo creator, a freelancer, an indie founder or a small agency that values breadth of networks, unlimited seats and scriptability over paperwork, this is a strong and cheap choice worth trialling for seven days. For a regulated organisation, a procurement process that needs a signed DPA and a named data location, or a team that works mainly from a phone, the gaps are structural rather than cosmetic and will not be closed by a plan upgrade.
