PPC Ad Editor
Web tool that builds pixel-accurate ad mockups for Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, writes headlines with AI, then shares one review link so clients comment and approve without an account. Exports straight to Google Ads Editor.
What is PPC Ad Editor?
PPC Ad Editor is a web application that turns paid search and paid social campaigns into pixel-accurate visual mockups, then carries them through client review to sign-off. It targets a narrow and very familiar bottleneck in agency life: showing someone what an ad will look like before any money is spent, and getting them to say yes.
Google formats are covered most thoroughly. Responsive Search Ads are built with live character counts across up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions; Responsive Display Ads span 22 placements including Gmail and YouTube; Performance Max is handled as complete asset groups with Search, Display, YouTube, Discover and Gmail previews. Beyond Google the tool renders Facebook and Instagram feed, story and carousel units, LinkedIn sponsored content and carousels, YouTube in-feed, in-stream and Shorts placements, plus X, Pinterest, TikTok and HTML5 banners — eight platforms according to the About page.
Campaigns come in through a Google Ads Editor CSV, a bulk sheet, a direct Google Ads sync, or the visual editor. An AI layer then writes headlines and descriptions, suggests assets and fits copy to each format's limits; the About page credits GPT-4 and Gemini. Once built, a mockup is published as one link: recipients comment, edit inline and approve without an account, and comments stay attached to the version they belong to. Finished work leaves as a Google Ads Editor CSV in a single click, or as a PDF.
A second entry point is the MCP server at studio.ppcadeditor.com/api/mcp, shipped as the npm package pcade-mcp. It exposes two tools — one returning each format's field counts and character limits, one accepting structured ad content and returning a share URL — so Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf can produce previews straight from a conversation. No AI inference runs server-side: the user's own model writes the copy, PPC Ad Editor only renders it.
The vendor claims 10,000+ PPC professionals, 500,000+ mockups and 500+ agencies, and publishes dedicated pages for education, financial services, government, legal, nonprofit and pharmaceutical advertisers.
What it does
- Build pixel-accurate ad mockups for Google Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok and HTML5
- Generate headlines and descriptions with AI, already fitted to each format's character limits
- Share a single preview link that clients open, comment on and approve without creating an account
- Collect feedback and approvals directly on the preview, with comments tied to the version they were left on
- Export to a Google Ads Editor CSV in one click, or to PDF for a client presentation
- Import campaigns from a Google Ads Editor CSV, a bulk sheet or a direct Google Ads sync
- Produce ad previews from Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf through the MCP server
When to use PPC Ad Editor / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if PPC Ad Editor is the right fit.
When to use PPC Ad Editor
- Digital marketing agencies juggling several client accounts at once — the site aims at teams managing five or more clients and claims a 70% cut in revision cycles
- Freelance PPC specialists who need polished mockups to win pitches and cut down the back-and-forth before a campaign goes live
- In-house marketing teams that must collect sign-off from executives and legal reviewers without handing them access to the ad platforms
- E-commerce advertisers testing Shopping and Performance Max creative before any media budget is committed
- People already working inside an AI assistant — Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf — who want a shareable ad preview generated straight from a conversation
When not to use PPC Ad Editor
- Advertisers shopping for campaign management, bid automation or media buying: this builds mockups and runs approvals, it does not run campaigns
- Procurement teams that need a signed DPA, a named legal entity and a governing-law clause before purchase — the site publishes none of the three
- Anyone expecting image or video generation: the AI writes ad copy, the tool only renders the layout around it
- Mobile-first users, since there is no iOS or Android application and the product is web only
- Teams that rely on self-service documentation, because every article link in the knowledge base still points to a dead anchor
How to use PPC Ad Editor
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Try the product first without signing up: the Examples page opens live interactive demos of the RSA, Display and Performance Max editors, the dashboard and the commenting flow
- Create an account at studio.ppcadeditor.com/register — no credit card is requested
- Bring in a campaign by importing a Google Ads Editor CSV, uploading a bulk sheet, syncing directly from Google Ads, or typing it into the visual editor
- Pick the platform and format you need, from Google Search and Display through Performance Max, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Pinterest and TikTok
- Let the AI draft or rework headlines and descriptions, watching the live character counters for each field
- Organise the work into dashboards, one per client or per project
- Send the single share link to clients and stakeholders — they need no login to open it
- Read the comments left directly on the preview, edit headlines inline, and keep track of versions through the revision history
- Export the approved set as a Google Ads Editor CSV, or as a PDF for a presentation
- For the AI-assistant route, either paste https://studio.ppcadeditor.com/api/mcp into your client's custom integration settings, or run npx -y pcade-mcp locally on Node.js v18.13+, adding a PCADE_API_KEY from the dashboard settings if you want higher quotas
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Unusually deep Google coverage: Responsive Display Ads across 22 placements and Performance Max asset groups with Search, Display, YouTube, Discover and Gmail previews
- Clients review without an account — the share link removes the friction that normally stalls approvals, and comments stay bound to a version
- Direct CSV export to Google Ads Editor, which removes the retyping and copy-paste errors between mockup and live campaign
- A permanent free plan plus interactive demos that need neither sign-up nor a credit card
- The MCP integration is documented with real precision: named endpoint, zero-dependency npm package, two named tools, and quotas given as numbers
- No server-side AI inference on the MCP route — the customer's own model writes the copy, previews render in two to three seconds, and API keys travel only through an environment variable and can be revoked instantly
- A clear written stance on data: no AI training on customer content, no monetisation, no advertising cookies, retention stated in days and months, and seven subprocessors named
Cons
- No legal entity is named anywhere on the site — the terms say only that the service is "operated by our team" — and there is no legal notice page and no governing-law or jurisdiction clause
- The current site publishes no postal address and no phone number; the last address it did publish, in December 2025, had the shape of a commercial mailbox
- SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and CCPA are shown as badges only, with no report, certificate number, auditor or trust centre behind them
- The security page and the privacy policy describe the hosting stack differently — AWS multi-region on one, Vercel, Neon and Cloudflare on the other — and neither names a country or region
- Both legal documents are dated December 2024, well before the product was rebuilt on a new technical stack
- Advertised pricing moved from $49 to $99 per month within six months, and paid channels beyond Google Ads were still marked "Coming Soon" in January 2026
- The knowledge base is an empty shell — every article link points to a dead anchor — and the FAQ answers never reach the page source
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan is available, alongside a guest mode that needs no account at all and allows three previews a day. On the most recent published figures, from May and June 2026, the cheapest paid tier is the Starter plan at USD 99 per month, which lifts the preview limit, makes share links permanent, removes the watermark and enables export to Google Ads Editor. Billing is monthly or annual in advance through Stripe, renews automatically, and can be cancelled at any time, with no pro-rata refund for the unused part of a period. An Enterprise tier is quoted on request. Note that the pricing page archived in January 2026 showed a single plan at USD 49 per month, presented as a limited-time reduction from USD 129 and bundled with a 30-day free trial; that page could not be re-read on the live site, so these amounts should be confirmed before purchase.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how PPC Ad Editor handles your data.
GDPR overview
Compliance is claimed in plain terms: a GDPR badge on the homepage, and a security page stating the company is fully GDPR compliant with data processing agreements, privacy controls and data portability. Six data subject rights are listed — access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction — with a 30-day response commitment through privacy@ppcadeditor.com, and seven subprocessors are named (Stripe, Vercel, Neon, Firebase, SendGrid, PostHog, Sentry). Past that the file is thin. No Article 27 EU representative is designated, no DPO is named, no hosting country or region is stated, and no transfer mechanism or standard contractual clauses are described. No legal entity is identified anywhere on the site. SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and CCPA appear as badges with no report or certificate reference. Both legal documents date from December 2024.
Who owns the data?
The terms are unambiguous that customers keep their content: headlines, descriptions, images and whole campaigns remain the customer's property. PPC Ad Editor takes only a limited licence to store and display that material as far as running the service requires, and states it will never use it for its own marketing, for AI training, or for any other purpose. The privacy policy goes further, saying ad content is never shared with advertisers, ad platforms or third parties, and that client names, campaign strategies and ad copy are treated as confidential. Customers stay responsible for holding the rights to anything they upload. Both documents carry a December 2024 date.
Reuse rights
Because ownership stays with the customer, mockups and ad copy can be reused, exported and republished freely without asking permission — the Google Ads Editor CSV export and the PDF export exist for exactly that. The vendor's own reuse is much narrower: its licence covers storage and display in service of the product, and the terms rule out using customer content for marketing or for AI training. Nothing in either document gives the vendor a right to publish, resell or aggregate customer campaigns. What customers may not reuse is the platform itself: software, design, interface, name and logo remain the vendor's property, and reverse engineering, automated scraping and reselling the product as one's own are all prohibited.

Hosting summary
The site describes its hosting twice, and not identically. The security page says the platform is hosted on AWS with multi-region redundancy and a 99.99% uptime SLA, on PostgreSQL with automated backups, point-in-time recovery and encryption, behind Cloudflare enterprise DDoS protection. The privacy policy instead says the infrastructure runs on Vercel, Neon and Cloudflare. The two are technically reconcilable, since Vercel itself builds on AWS, and an independent DNS lookup resolves the domain to a Vercel anycast address announced from a United States network — but the same site tells the story two ways. Encryption is stated as TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, with backups held with geographic redundancy, 24/7 security monitoring and access limited to authorised staff. Crucially, no hosting country and no region is ever named: there is no EU option, no residency commitment and no transfer mechanism described. Seven subprocessors are named: Stripe, Vercel, Neon, Firebase, SendGrid, PostHog and Sentry. On the MCP route the proxy is described as stateless, with no local storage.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting PPC Ad Editor.
- With no legal entity, no postal address on the current site and no governing-law clause, a dispute has no named counterparty to be addressed to — a real exposure for anyone storing client campaign data here
- SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 are badges, not evidence. Anyone who treats them as a security assessment has outsourced their own due diligence to a graphic
- The terms warn that mockups may not match live platform rendering. A team that stops checking the real platform because the preview looked right will eventually ship something a client did not approve
- Leaning on AI-generated headlines for every campaign quietly erodes the copywriting judgement that made the team valuable, and the character-limit safety net makes it easy to ship copy nobody really read
- Faster approvals can become shallower approvals: a client who clicks through a link in ten seconds has reviewed less than one who sat through a meeting, yet the record says approved either way
- Legal documents dated December 2024 no longer necessarily describe a product rebuilt in 2026, so what actually happens to your data may differ from what you read
- Pricing has moved substantially inside six months and the live pricing page is unreachable to automated checks, so any budget built on a quoted figure should be re-confirmed directly
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for normal use. Nothing is installed: you register, import a Google Ads Editor CSV, a bulk sheet or a direct Google Ads sync, and start building. The site insists no design skills are needed, and reviewers install nothing either — they open a link. The AI-assistant route is barely harder: pasting the MCP endpoint into a client's integration settings takes seconds, while the local package needs only Node.js v18.13+ and npx, with no dependencies. Only the Enterprise options — SAML single sign-on and custom integrations — amount to a project rather than a setting.

Should you pick PPC Ad Editor?
PPC Ad Editor solves a narrow but genuinely tedious problem well. Its Google coverage is the strongest part — Responsive Display Ads across 22 placements and Performance Max asset groups are rarely handled this thoroughly elsewhere — and the account-free share link is what really separates it from a spreadsheet and a folder of screenshots. The MCP integration is documented with unusual precision: a named endpoint, a zero-dependency npm package, two named tools and quotas given as numbers rather than adjectives. On data, the position is clear and written down: no AI training on customer content, no monetisation, no advertising cookies, retention stated in days and months, and seven subprocessors named.
Institutional transparency is the weak side. No legal entity is named anywhere, there is no governing-law clause, and the current site publishes neither a postal address nor a phone number — the last one it did publish, in December 2025, was a commercial mailbox in California. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 appear as badges with nothing consultable behind them, and the security page and privacy policy describe the hosting stack differently. Both legal documents still carry a December 2024 date, although the product was rebuilt on a new stack afterwards. Advertised pricing moved from $49 to $99 a month within six months, and the site now blocks automated access, so no figure here should be taken as final.
For an agency, a freelancer or an in-house team that mainly wants faster sign-off, it is a reasonable and inexpensive bet, with a free plan to test the fit. For a regulated or European buyer the product may well be fine, but the paperwork is not: ask in writing for the hosting jurisdiction, a data processing agreement and the certification reports before committing.
