GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete and documented rather than merely claimed. The privacy policy names four legal bases — performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent — and sets out the rights available to EEA, UK and Swiss residents: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and the right to lodge a complaint, with links to the EU authority directory and to the UK ICO. International transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, and Article 28 data processing agreements are in place with each AI provider. The policy also carries an Article 50 disclosure under the EU AI Act. Two gaps remain: no EU representative is designated under Article 27, and no data processing agreement is offered to customers. Who owns the data?
The terms of use are explicit that the vendor asserts no ownership over user contributions: you retain full ownership of what you write and of the intellectual property rights attached to it. The privacy policy, in force since 12 April 2026, adds that email content is never stored on the vendor's servers once a suggestion has been generated, and is never sold or shared for advertising. One exception deserves attention: any question, comment, suggestion, idea or feedback you send directly to the company is treated as a Submission, and the terms assign all intellectual property rights in it to the company, which may then use and disseminate it without acknowledgment or compensation. Account information is kept for the life of the account plus up to twelve months.
Reuse rights
You may freely reuse what Professionally produces: the output is a suggestion you remain free to keep, edit or discard, and the terms grant a licence to access the service and its content for personal, non-commercial use or internal business purposes. What you may not do without prior written permission is copy, aggregate, republish or resell the vendor's own content and marks. On the input side, the text you submit is processed in real time by the vendor's own model and, depending on your product version and settings, by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or xAI Grok. Each provider is covered by an Article 28 data processing agreement, with TLS in transit and encryption at rest. The vendor states that email content is never used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model, its own included. Tone and style preferences are analysed over time to personalise suggestions and can be deleted on request to support. Payments run through Shopify and Apple, and no card details are stored by the vendor.

The terms of use state plainly that the Services are hosted in the United States, and the privacy policy confirms that the company is based there and that your information may be transferred to, stored in and processed in the United States, as well as in the countries where its AI providers operate.
