PromptPanda
PromptPanda is an AI prompt management system for marketing and GTM teams. It centralises prompts in a tagged, searchable library, scores prompt quality, and inserts prompts into any LLM chat via a Chrome extension. Free plan; Pro costs $9/month.
What is PromptPanda?
PromptPanda is a software-as-a-service prompt management system: a WordPress marketing site backed by a web application at app.promptpanda.io. Its positioning is deliberate. Existing prompt tools, it argues, are built for developers, not for marketing teams who need to scale, so everything in the product is aimed at go-to-market and marketing groups rather than engineers.
The site names five problems it sets out to solve: prompts scattered across tools and people, inconsistent messaging, limited scalability, collaboration bottlenecks and security risk. Five building blocks answer them. The first is a centralised prompt library that acts as a single source of truth, with tags by project, use case or team and search across keyword, tag or prompt content. The second is team consistency: standardised prompts hold one brand voice and give predictable outputs, and the product page frames this as knowledge transfer for new joiners, who inherit prompts that already work. The third is variables, dynamic placeholders that let a single prompt serve several contexts without being rewritten. The fourth, flagged as new on the homepage, is the Prompt Quality Improver: it returns a prompt score, a detailed analysis and fine-tuning suggestions, checking specificity, completeness of context and tone alignment. The fifth is a Chrome extension that lets you add and recall prompts on any LLM platform. Running and comparing prompts, and tracking results over time, sits alongside these.
The pricing page names the model providers connected: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek. Five public templates are visible without an account, namely Industry Analysis, Prompt Optimizer, Adaptive editor, Unstructured to Structured JSON data and Content writer, across general, marketing and research categories.
On maturity, the picture is that of an early product. The publisher is Belgian, with two co-founders and fewer than ten people. The Chrome extension sits at version 0.4.2, last updated on 20 May 2025, with 57 users and a 3.0/5 rating from two reviews. Version history is still announced as coming soon. The domain was registered on 25 October 2023 and first archived on 5 July 2024.

When to use PromptPanda / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if PromptPanda is the right fit.
When to use PromptPanda
- Marketing and go-to-market teams whose prompts are currently scattered across documents, chat threads and personal notes.
- Content, brand and communications teams that need to hold one consistent brand voice across several writers.
- Non-technical users who are unsure how to write a good prompt: the Prompt Quality Improver scores a prompt and suggests how to tighten it.
- Teams onboarding new joiners, who inherit prompts that already work instead of starting from scratch.
- Freelancers, startups and small companies watching costs: free personal use up to 10 prompts, then $9/month for ten seats.
When not to use PromptPanda
- Developers and engineering teams that need an API: no API documentation is published on the site or listed in its sitemap.
- Teams building production prompt pipelines: chaining, orchestration and automated execution are not part of the product, which positions itself against tools "built for developers".
- Mobile-first users: there is no iOS or Android application.
- People who work outside Chrome: the browser extension exists for Chrome only, with no Firefox, Safari or Edge version mentioned.
- Organisations with a formal vendor review process: no terms of service, no data processing agreement, no subprocessor list and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification are published, and version history is still announced as "coming soon".

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Permanent free plan, with no credit card required
- Low entry price: $9/month for Pro with ten seats included, then $1 per additional seat per month
- One-off Lifetime Deal at $229, announced as a limited-time offer
- Five LLM providers integrated (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek), so no lock-in to a single model
- The Chrome extension carries your prompts outside the application, into any LLM chat
- Designed explicitly for non-technical teams, with built-in prompt quality guidance for people who are not expert prompt writers
- EU-established publisher under Belgian law, with user rights spelled out in the privacy policy
Cons
- No terms of service are published: nothing covers content ownership, service levels, minimum age or how a subscription ends
- No data processing agreement, no subprocessor list and no security certification (neither SOC 2 nor ISO 27001)
- Nothing is said about whether customer data is used to train models, in either direction, and no opt-out is offered
- No data hosting country or region is disclosed
- No public API and no mobile application; the browser extension is Chrome-only, has 57 users and was last updated in May 2025
- The free plan is capped at 10 prompts and 5 optimisations, and version history is still marked "coming soon" on the product page
- Thin company presence: no postal address or registered company name on the site, no about, contact or documentation pages, and support through a single email address, while the homepage FAQ points to an address on a third-party domain (usewhale.io)

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how PromptPanda handles your data.
GDPR overview
PromptPanda is an EU-established publisher and its privacy policy, dated 5 January 2025, is governed by Belgian law, with disputes settled in Belgian courts. It states that data is stored "in compliance with Belgian and EU regulations" and lists the rights users can exercise: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and withdrawal of consent, all through support@promptpanda.io. Cookies are described as manageable through the browser, with no consent platform documented, and the extension is said to follow Chrome Web Store rules. What is missing is explicit: the word GDPR is never used about the company's own compliance, no data protection officer is named, no data processing agreement is offered, no subprocessor list is published (Google Analytics and PostHog are cited only as examples) and no standard contractual clauses are mentioned.
Who owns the data?
PromptPanda publishes no terms of service, so the question of who owns the prompts and content you store is not answered anywhere on the site. The privacy policy, dated 5 January 2025, is the only legal document available: it states that personal information is neither sold nor rented to third parties, and that data is shared only with service providers such as analytics tools and with Belgian authorities on a valid legal request. The homepage FAQ adds that content is stored securely and not shared with third parties. No licence clause covers the prompts you enter, in either direction.
Reuse rights
No terms of service are published, so nothing on the site grants or restricts the reuse of what you produce with PromptPanda: the document that would normally carry that rule does not exist here. In practice the product is built for reuse. It is a shared prompt repository designed to be circulated inside a team, and five public templates (Industry Analysis, Prompt Optimizer, Adaptive editor, Unstructured to Structured JSON data, Content writer) can be read without an account. No restriction on commercial use is stated anywhere. Bear in mind that outputs come from the third-party models PromptPanda connects to, namely OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek, and each of those providers' own terms apply to what comes back.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
No hosting country or region is named anywhere on the site. The privacy policy says data is stored "in compliance with Belgian and EU regulations", which is a compliance statement rather than a location: it does not say in which country the servers sit. Jurisdiction is clearer. The policy is governed by Belgian law, disputes are resolved in Belgian courts, and the publisher is established in Belgium. The site resolves to a Cloudflare address (AS13335), but that IP is an anycast node and says nothing about where data is stored. Two service providers are mentioned in passing, Google Analytics and PostHog, introduced as examples rather than as a complete list. There is no published subprocessor list, no data processing agreement and no reference to standard contractual clauses. In short: European jurisdiction is established, the physical hosting location is not, and the chain of processors behind the service remains undocumented.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting PromptPanda.
- No terms of service are published, so there is no enforceable commitment on availability, on ownership of the content you store, or on how a subscription is terminated.
- Centralising a company's prompts concentrates hard-won know-how in one place: the workspace becomes a high-value target, and any sensitive detail pasted into a shared prompt is visible to everyone with access.
- Nothing in writing states whether customer data is used to train AI models, in either direction, and no opt-out mechanism is offered.
- No hosting location is disclosed and no retention period is quantified: data is kept "as long as necessary", which cannot be checked from outside.
- Prompts are passed on to third-party LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek), whose own terms then govern that content.
- Over-standardisation is a quiet human risk: frozen prompts can flatten a team's output into a single voice and erode the critical judgement of the people reusing them.
- The Chrome extension reads and writes in the input fields of LLM chats, and the publisher is a team of fewer than ten people with no announced funding: two dependencies worth weighing before making it the only home for your prompts.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Setup is straightforward and requires no technical skill. You sign up through a form, verify your email address and start without a credit card. The product is a web application, so there is nothing to install; the optional Chrome extension is a one-click install from the Chrome Web Store. Model integrations are connected from inside the application. There is no API to call and no server configuration to handle, which is consistent with a product built for non-technical teams. The real effort goes into organising your prompt library, not into installation.

Should you pick PromptPanda?
PromptPanda is a young, tightly scoped product run by two Belgian founders in a team of fewer than ten people. Its niche is clear and not crowded: prompt management for people who are not developers. Marketing and go-to-market teams get a single library with tags and search, reusable variables, a shared workspace and a scoring tool that explains why a prompt is weak, a set of building blocks that maps neatly onto the five problems the site says it solves.
The pricing is aggressive. A permanent free plan, $9 a month for ten seats and a $229 lifetime option sit well below what team tooling usually costs, and five model providers are connected, so nothing ties you to one vendor.
The reservations concern maturity and paperwork rather than the idea. The Chrome extension has 57 users and has not been updated since May 2025, and version history is still announced rather than shipped. The contractual side is thin: no terms of service, no data processing agreement, no postal address, no security certification. Compliance shows a genuine strength, with an EU-established publisher, Belgian law and the six data subject rights written out, but two blind spots remain: nothing states where data is hosted, and nothing states whether customer data is used to train models.
Read as a whole, PromptPanda suits a small or mid-sized marketing team that wants to stop losing prompts in documents and chat threads and can accept a supplier whose legal documentation is still incomplete. Organisations with a formal vendor review process will struggle to clear it as it stands. The free plan makes the assessment cheap: ten prompts are enough to see whether a shared library and quality scoring change how the team works.
