Overview

What is Pullsy?

Pullsy is an AI inbox assistant published by Pullsy Ai Inc, a company based in Sarasota, Florida. It connects to a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox, or to Outlook or Microsoft 365, together with a calendar; Slack is announced as coming “very soon” rather than available today. The product runs in the browser, and the home page claims more than 10,000 users.

Three pillars carry it. Inbox Organization identifies and highlights the messages that matter and filters out the noise. Smart AI Drafts reads the whole conversation thread and its context, then writes a reply you can send in one click; the assistant looks for what a human would answer — questions waiting on you, tasks to confirm or decline, promises left unkept, scheduling needs, documents someone asked for — and proposes options such as confirming, offering a slot or attaching a file. Ask Pullsy lets you search, filter and interrogate the mailbox in plain language: it understands context, retrieves attachments and identifies who is involved and what needs doing. A fourth piece, the Quick Day Overview, condenses the day into new messages, priority tasks and upcoming meetings with their context.

Tone is set from the dashboard — professional, friendly, direct, sarcastic, detailed or another style — and the assistant is built to learn how you actually write: sentence length, vocabulary, punctuation, level of formality, sign-offs, and the way you open a message, apologise or make a request.

Pullsy is deliberately assistive. “You decide what gets sent, what gets saved, and what gets ignored”, says the about page, and nothing leaves the mailbox without a human review — a commitment the publisher repeats across three separate pages. On security, the company advertises verified Google OAuth with a completed CASA assessment, SOC 2 Type II described as in progress, GDPR alignment, and encryption in transit and at rest.

One scope ambiguity is worth noting: the privacy policy and terms define the Services as including browser extensions and mobile and desktop applications, yet no store listing, link or product page documents any of them. Site and interface are in English only, and the publisher is American.

  • Consultants, freelancers and agents juggling several mailboxes and calendars, which the Pro tier covers
  • Gmail or Google Workspace and Outlook or Microsoft 365 users, the only providers Pullsy connects to
  • Small teams wanting centralised billing, an admin dashboard, team analytics and SSO on the Enterprise tier

When not to use Pullsy

  • Developers and technical teams: Pullsy publishes no public API and no developer documentation
  • Anyone on a mailbox other than Gmail or Google Workspace and Outlook or Microsoft 365, the only providers listed in the pricing FAQ
  • People looking for a permanently free tool, or unwilling to enter card details to start a trial
  • Teams that need automated sending, an auto-responder or a shared helpdesk: Pullsy only drafts, a human always clicks send

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Assistive by design: nothing is sent without human review, a commitment stated on three separate pages
  • Detailed and dated security page (13 January 2026) covering encryption, access control, vendors, incident response and responsible disclosure
  • Verified Google OAuth with a completed CASA assessment, meaning real external scrutiny of access to sensitive Google data
  • Complete public pricing grid, monthly and annual, with a comparison table and a 20% annual discount
  • Flat $10 per month for each additional seat, on all three tiers
  • Unusual traceability for a product this young: registered company name, postal address, toll-free number and support hours all published, alongside three role-labelled contact addresses
  • Drafts learn the user's own writing style — sentence length, vocabulary, formality, sign-offs — instead of applying canned templates

Cons

  • No permanently free plan, and a payment card is required to start the 14-day trial
  • SOC 2 Type II is described as in progress rather than obtained, yet the home page still displays a “SOC Type II In Progress” badge
  • Hosting is undocumented: no provider, no country, no region, and the subprocessor list is kept internally and shared only on request
  • Nothing is published about whether customer data trains models, nor about any opt-out
  • No public API and no developer documentation, which rules out custom integrations
  • Contradictory content between pages: the footer Help Desk link (support.pullsy.com) returns a 404, and the contact page presents Slack and LinkedIn as integrations while the home page says Slack is only coming
  • Signs of a rushed launch: an internal memo left inside the pricing FAQ, an arbitration clause still in template form in the terms, no published customer reviews, and home-page counters showing zero

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Pullsy handles your data.

GDPR overview

Pullsy claims GDPR compliance on its home page and devotes a dedicated section of its security page, updated 13 January 2026, to it. The privacy policy, in force since 9 December 2025, sets out legal bases for EEA and UK users — contract, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligations — and documents access, rectification, erasure and portability rights subject to identity verification, plus the right to complain to a local supervisory authority. Pullsy says it may act as a data processor for emails handled on a customer's behalf, enters into Data Processing Agreements “where required”, and relies on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA and UK. California CCPA and CPRA rights are documented too. Two gaps remain: no Article 27 EU representative and no data protection officer is named, and the hosting location is never disclosed. GDPR requests go to privacy@pullsy.com.

Who owns the data?

Under the terms of use, you keep ownership of your User Content: the emails Pullsy reaches through your integrations, plus labels, settings and any material you supply. In exchange you grant Pullsy Ai Inc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, use, process, store and analyse that content, generate AI suggestions, provide, maintain and improve the service, and meet legal obligations. The publisher states the licence is limited to operating and improving the service and ends when your content is deleted or your account is closed, subject to reasonable backup and retention policies. Pullsy also states it neither sells nor rents personal data.

Reuse rights

Nothing in the terms restricts what you do with your own messages or with the drafts Pullsy produces for you, so end users reuse their content freely and without asking. On the publisher's side, the declared purposes are narrow: providing and maintaining the service, improving and developing it, communicating with users, and protecting users and the platform. Email content and metadata are processed by AI to classify, prioritise, suggest labels and generate drafts, and this produces derived data such as priority scores, categories, AI labels and aggregate statistics. The privacy policy states that “Google user data is used only to provide and improve the core functionality of the application and for no other purposes”, and that usage data is analysed solely to understand how the app is used, identify issues, debug errors and improve performance. Pullsy says it does not sell data and does not let vendors processing customer content use it for their own purposes; sharing is limited to subprocessors, the connected email and calendar providers, corporate transfers, legal obligations, and aggregated or de-identified data. One point stays open: the security page section headed “Data use and model training” never says whether Pullsy itself trains models on customer content, and no opt-out is published.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Pullsy publishes rules but no figures. Data is kept for as long as the account exists, as long as it is needed to deliver the service, or as long as a legal obligation, a dispute or the enforcement of an agreement requires. The security page adds that account data and data derived from emails are retained for the time needed to provide and operate the service or to meet legal duties. When an account is closed, Pullsy says it takes steps to delete or anonymise the data “within a reasonable timeframe”, subject to backup retention and legal requirements, with backups explicitly carved out. Some information can be viewed, changed or deleted inside the product; deletion and export requests go to privacy@pullsy.com. No numeric retention period is published anywhere. The privacy policy has been in force since 9 December 2025.

Hosting summary

Pullsy says only that it is “hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure providers that maintain strong physical, network, and environmental security controls”. No provider is named, no country is given and no region is indicated, so the central hosting question is left unanswered on the public site. What the security page, updated 13 January 2026, does describe is architecture and controls: segregated production, staging and development environments; firewalls, security groups and access restrictions limiting connectivity to sensitive services and databases; and encryption at rest for production databases, backups and file storage, with keys held under restricted access and rotated where appropriate. For personal data leaving the EEA or UK, the publisher relies on appropriate safeguards, citing Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Jurisdiction is clear on the corporate side alone: the publisher is Pullsy Ai Inc, based in Sarasota, Florida, and the terms of use apply Florida law. Note also that the web server sits behind Cloudflare's anycast network, so its IP address indicates nothing about where the data itself is stored.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Pullsy.

  • The OAuth connection grants access to email content — headers, bodies, attachments and labels. Accept it only if that scope is acceptable for every message already in the mailbox, including threads that involve third parties who never agreed to it
  • One-click sending makes it easy to approve a draft without really reading it; the assistive design only protects you if you genuinely review the text before clicking
  • Handing over tone and phrasing month after month can dull your own writing reflexes, and a draft written in your learned style can carry a commitment you never meant to make
  • SOC 2 Type II is advertised as in progress: the home-page badge should not be read as a certification obtained
  • No hosting country is published, the subprocessor list stays internal, and nothing states whether customer content trains models or how to opt out — sensitive correspondence warrants a written answer from the publisher first
  • The card is charged as soon as the 14-day trial ends, so cancel before day 14 to avoid it; billing is non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise
  • Governing law and courts are in Florida, the arbitration clause is still a template in the terms, the footer Help Desk returns a 404, and advertised integrations differ from page to page (Slack, LinkedIn, Zoom) — check what is genuinely live before committing
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. Pullsy is a web product with nothing to install: sign up, connect a Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox through OAuth and link a calendar, which the pricing FAQ says takes minutes. No API key and no developer configuration are involved. Everything else is dashboard settings: reply tone, custom categories, and custom filters and rules on the Pro tier. Access can be revoked at any time from Google or Microsoft, or from Pullsy's own settings. Only the Enterprise tier calls for administrator work, to set up SSO, and it comes with dedicated onboarding.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Pullsy?
Pullsy is an AI-powered inbox management tool. It connects Gmail, Outlook and your calendar — with Slack announced as coming — then organises your mail, ranks what matters and suggests replies.
Which email providers does Pullsy support?
Gmail and Google Workspace, plus Outlook and Microsoft 365. The pricing FAQ lists no other provider.
Does Pullsy send emails on its own?
No. It generates drafts and suggestions; you review the text and click send yourself. The publisher describes the product as assistive by design.
How does the free trial work, and is a card required?
The trial runs for 14 days with full access to the tier you choose. A payment card is required at sign-up, but no charge is taken before the trial ends, and you can cancel at any point beforehand.
What counts as a mailbox connection or a calendar connection?
A mailbox connection is one connected email account — a Gmail box or an Outlook box; aliases routed to the same box are generally not counted separately. A calendar connection is one connected calendar, used for meeting context and scheduling flows.
What separates Starter from Pro?
Starter covers one mailbox with the core AI organisation. Pro adds several mailboxes and calendars, Ask Pullsy, meeting preparation and custom rules.
How is an extra teammate billed?
USD 10 per seat per month. Each teammate gets individual access while billing stays centralised on the admin side.
Is Pullsy secure?
The publisher cites encryption in transit and at rest, practices aligned with SOC 2 and GDPR, access limited to what is necessary, integrations you can disconnect at any time, and no resale of data. Note that SOC 2 Type II is presented as in progress, not obtained.
Is there a minimum age?
The terms of use set 18 as the contractual minimum (article 1), while the privacy policy separately states the service is not intended for anyone under 16 (article 9).
How do I delete or export my data, and how do I cancel?
Send the request to privacy@pullsy.com; data is deleted or anonymised after the account is closed, subject to backups and legal obligations. Subscriptions are cancelled from account settings and stay active until the end of the billing period.
Conclusion

Should you pick Pullsy?

Pullsy is a young product with an unusually complete paper trail. Its privacy policy came into force in December 2025 and the site went live around the same time, yet the publisher already documents a registered company name, a postal address in Sarasota, a toll-free support line with opening hours, three role-labelled contact addresses, and a dated security page covering encryption, access control, incident response and responsible disclosure.

The positioning is narrow and stated plainly: two email providers, one calendar, no API. That focus is a strength for the intended audience — founders, operators, consultants and client-facing teams who spend the day in the inbox answering the same questions — and a hard stop for everyone else. Pricing is equally legible: three paid tiers from $15 a month, a 20% annual discount, a flat $10 per extra seat, a 14-day trial, and no permanently free plan.

The reservations deserve weighing before signing up. SOC 2 Type II is in progress, not obtained. Hosting is described only as reputable cloud infrastructure providers, with no vendor, country or region named, and the subprocessor list is shared on request rather than published. Nothing states whether customer data trains models, and no opt-out exists. The site also shows signs of a rushed launch: a footer Help Desk link that returns a 404, FAQ pages contradicting each other on integrations, an internal memo left in the pricing FAQ, and an arbitration clause still in template form in the terms.

Pullsy suits people who want to hand over triage and the first draft while keeping control of what actually gets sent. Anyone needing certified compliance, documented hosting, an API or an explicit position on model training should wait for the publisher to close those gaps.
