Raiinmaker
Raiinmaker supplies on-demand video and image datasets for training AI models, captured natively by a network of 300,000+ human contributors across 190+ countries, plus human-feedback evaluation of generative video model output. Pricing is quote-only.
What is Raiinmaker?
Raiinmaker is an AI data services company that supplies the raw material other teams use to train video and vision models. It describes itself as delivering on-demand, enterprise-grade video and image datasets, and it runs two named offerings alongside each other.
TRAIIN VIDEO is the dataset business. Rather than licensing from a stock library, Raiinmaker commissions footage to your specification (specific objects, scenes, behaviours or edge cases) and has it captured by its contributor network. The pitch turns on provenance: No stock. No scraping. Every video is presented as ethically sourced, rights-cleared and created for AI training, with on-chain proof of ownership attached. Each file arrives with core metadata (GPS, date and time, resolution and frame rate, description, rights and provenance) and enriched metadata (device make and model, gyroscope tracking, object and scene tags, usage permissions, audio flags). Delivery is over API or in batches, ready for fine-tuning, RAG or RLHF workflows.
TRAIIN DATA is the evaluation side. A customer's generative video model is integrated into the Raiinmaker app, or its outputs are sent over the API; real users then generate videos and give feedback on what the model produced. Those generations run through an RLHF pipeline and the result comes back as an audited evaluation report.
Both rest on the same asset: a network of more than 300,000 active human contributors across 190+ countries, who capture footage on their phones and validate submissions as they arrive. Quality control mixes automated and human review, with an AI Reputation Score ranking validators on reputation and behaviour. The company also runs the consumer half of that network openly, through a free iOS and Android app in which contributors earn a $Coiin token, with referral and partner reward programmes attached.
The company behind it is Coiin, LLC, trading as Raiinmaker, based in Sheridan, Wyoming, with J.D Seraphine as founder and CEO. There is no published pricing: the only way in is a contact form, and every engagement is quoted individually.

When to use Raiinmaker / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Raiinmaker is the right fit.
When to use Raiinmaker
- Teams training or fine-tuning generative video and computer-vision models who need data built to their own specification
- AI labs that need specific objects, scenes, behaviours or edge cases rather than a generic stock catalogue
- Organisations exposed to legal risk over training-data provenance, who need rights-cleared footage with documented ownership
- ML teams that want model output judged by real human reviewers rather than by automated metrics alone
- Engineering teams already running fine-tuning, RAG or RLHF pipelines and looking for a data source that plugs into them
When not to use Raiinmaker
- Anyone who needs to compare prices before talking to a vendor, since nothing is published
- Users looking for self-service sign-up: the enterprise route is a contact form and nothing else
- Teams shopping for a ready-made AI model, as Raiinmaker sells data and evaluation rather than models
- Buyers with strict data-residency requirements, because no hosting country or region is disclosed
- Procurement processes that require published terms of service and a DPA before any conversation starts
How to use Raiinmaker
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open the contact form behind the Start Today or Lets Go buttons: there is no self-service sign-up
- Discuss the dataset you need with the team, down to objects, scenes, behaviours or edge cases
- A dataset quest is created carrying the parameters your model requires
- Contributors across the network are notified of the new dataset to fulfil
- Footage is captured natively in the app, with metadata attached and validated on submission
- Submissions are checked by a combination of AI and human validators ranked by reputation
- The finished, rights-cleared dataset is delivered over API or as a batch
- Implement the dataset in your model
- For evaluation, integrate your video model into the Raiinmaker app or send its outputs over the API
- Receive the audited evaluation report built from real user feedback
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Provenance is the core of the offering and is documented: rights cleared, ethically sourced, no scraping, on-chain proof of ownership
- Metadata depth is unusual, covering GPS, gyroscope, device model and usage permissions that generic catalogues rarely carry
- Datasets are produced to order against your own parameters instead of being pulled from a fixed library
- Validation combines automated checks with human reviewers ranked by a reputation system
- The contributor network is genuinely broad, with 300,000+ people across 190+ countries for geographic and cultural diversity
- Model output is judged by real users rather than by automated metrics alone
- Backed by a 7.5 million USD seed round co-led by Jump Crypto and Cypher Capital
Cons
- No pricing of any kind is published: not a plan, not a range, not a starting point
- No terms of service exist; the privacy policy links to a terms page that simply returns the homepage
- The privacy policy was last updated in January 2022, years before the TRAIIN products launched in 2025
- Two legal entities appear on the site: Coiin, LLC in the privacy policy and Regen, LLC in every page footer
- No DPA, no named subprocessors and no hosting country or region are disclosed
- The API is named as the delivery mechanism, yet no public documentation exists for it
- The site is thin and partly stale, with expired campaign pages still online
Pricing & Plans
No pricing is published anywhere on the site, and the sitemap contains no pricing page. Access to the enterprise offering runs through a contact form, so every engagement is quoted individually. Neither a free plan nor a free trial is advertised for that offering. On the contributor side, the mobile app is free to download and sign-up is described as free, with participants earning $Coiin for their contributions.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Raiinmaker handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR is addressed at length but never claimed as certified compliance. The privacy policy sets out the full set of data subject rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent, with a stated response time of 45 days and no fee unless a request is unfounded or excessive. Transfers outside the EEA rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses. EU residents are told they may complain to their supervisory authority after first contacting privacy@raiinmaker.com. The Child-CSAE page states adherence to the GDPR for children's data. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative and no data protection officer is named, and the policy was last updated on 13 January 2022, well before the current product line.
Who owns the data?
The privacy policy names COIIN, LLC, trading as Raiinmaker, as the data controller for all its websites and mobile applications. The company states that it will not sell or rent personal information, and repeats under the CCPA that it does not sell the data it collects. Information is nonetheless shared with group entities, service providers, third parties the user approves, credit reporting agencies, insurers, banks, external auditors and law enforcement where required. On the commercial side, the datasets sold are described as rights-cleared, with on-chain proof of ownership attached to each video. No published document sets out who owns data supplied by enterprise customers.
Reuse rights
No terms of service are published, so the reuse rights attached to a delivered dataset cannot be read from the site. What Raiinmaker does claim is that every video is ethically sourced, rights-cleared and created specifically for AI training, that usage permissions travel with each file as enriched metadata, and that ownership is provable on-chain. The privacy policy covers only personal information, not commercial licensing: it lets the company use collected data to run and improve its services, to market them and to meet legal obligations, and it allows anonymised data to be used indefinitely for research or statistics. Buyers should therefore obtain the licence terms for delivered datasets in writing, because the site does not state them.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Raiinmaker publishes no hosting location. No country, region, data centre or cloud provider is named anywhere on the site. The privacy policy says only that information may be held at the company's offices and those of its group companies, third-party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents, and it acknowledges that some of those third parties may be based outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data leaves the EEA, the company says it relies on European Commission adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. It also states plainly that its sites run on third-party software, hardware and networks it does not control, and that transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed secure. Governing law for privacy disputes is that of the State of Wyoming and the United States. At network level the domain resolves to a Cloudflare anycast address, which identifies the CDN in front of the site and says nothing about where data is stored. Any buyer with a data-residency requirement will need to obtain this in writing.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Raiinmaker.
- Two different legal entities appear on the same site, Coiin, LLC in the privacy policy and Regen, LLC in the 2025 footer, so establish who you would actually be contracting with
- The published address in Sheridan, Wyoming is of the kind used by registered-agent services for large numbers of companies, and is unlikely to be an operating headquarters
- There are no terms of service to read: the privacy policy points to a page that does not exist, so commercial terms stay unseen until you make contact
- Nothing is published about where data is hosted, which subprocessors are used, or whether a DPA is available, which is awkward for any regulated buyer
- No documented way exists to exclude data from model training, and the privacy policy never addresses the question
- The consumer side pays contributors in a crypto token whose value and availability sit outside the enterprise offering and carry their own risk
- Contributors upload natively captured video carrying location, device and audio metadata; anyone joining that side should understand exactly what is being handed over and to whom
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
There is nothing to install and no account to create: the enterprise route starts with a contact form, and setup is a project run with the vendor rather than a self-service configuration. Expect data-engineering work on your side, since datasets arrive over API or as batches, while model evaluation requires either integrating your video model into the Raiinmaker app or sending its outputs over the API. Because no public API documentation exists, the integration effort cannot be assessed before contact. The contributor app, by contrast, is a straightforward mobile download.

Frequently asked questions
What does Raiinmaker actually sell?
Where does the video come from?
Are the rights on the footage cleared?
How is a dataset delivered?
How much does it cost?
Is there a documented API?
Is there an application?
Who is behind Raiinmaker?
Does Raiinmaker comply with the GDPR?
Will my data be used to train models?
Should you pick Raiinmaker?
Raiinmaker's proposition is unusually clear for this market: it sells training data whose origin can be accounted for. In a field where provenance has become a genuine legal exposure, footage that is captured to order, rights-cleared and carries proof of ownership is a real differentiator, and the metadata depth (location, device, gyroscope, usage permissions) is the sort of thing a generic video catalogue simply does not carry. The human validation layer, ranked by a reputation score, adds a second argument that purely automated pipelines struggle to match.
The counterweight is opacity. Nothing about cost is published: no plan, no range, no starting point, only a contact form. That is a defensible choice for bespoke data work, but it means no reader can size a budget without entering a sales conversation. More awkward is the state of the paperwork. There are no terms of service at all, since the privacy policy links to a terms page that returns the homepage, and that privacy policy was last revised in January 2022, years before the TRAIIN products it is supposed to cover. Two legal entities appear across the site, Coiin, LLC in the policy and Regen, LLC in every footer, and no DPA, subprocessor list or hosting location is disclosed.
The practical reading is that this is a vendor for AI teams with an enterprise budget and the appetite to negotiate, not a tool anyone tries on a whim. If provenance and custom capture are what you need, the offering is credible and well backed. Before signing, establish which entity you are contracting with, get the licence terms for the delivered data in writing, and ask directly about hosting, subprocessors and a DPA, none of which the site will answer for you.
