It does four bounded jobs and says so plainly: it transcribes what you record, summarises what you give it, pulls tasks and reminders out of that material, and turns it into active-recall quizzes. You speak, type or upload; it hands back a transcript, a summary with key points, a prioritised task list, calendar reminders and quiz questions.
Capture happens on a phone, a watch or in a browser. The same product runs on iOS, Android and the web at app.recallify.ai, on one codebase, one account and one subscription, so opening it on a laptop costs nothing extra. The browser version is built with Flutter, needs no install, and therefore works on the locked-down campus or workplace machine many users are obliged to use. It records lectures in the room through the microphone, and online meetings on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams by listening to the call rather than sending a notetaker bot into it, with speaker identification separating who said what. Everything captured lands in a memory bank you can question in plain language instead of scrolling back through it.
The intended audience is unusually specific: people with ADHD or executive dysfunction, people rebuilding memory after acquired brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis or mild cognitive impairment, dyslexic and autistic learners, students including those with special educational needs, and anyone dealing with brain fog or cognitive fatigue. That focus comes from the founders. The limits are stated as firmly as the features. Recallify is not a medical device and not a chatbot, and it replaces no professional advice. It is for adults of 18 and over, on a paid subscription after a seven-day trial. A schools edition, Recallify Classroom, is announced but not yet available.

GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete and documented. TinieAI Ltd, registered in England and Wales, names itself controller under UK GDPR in a privacy policy at version 2.0, effective from May 2026. Each processing purpose is mapped to a lawful basis, from Article 6(1)(b) for delivering the service to Article 6(1)(a) for research participation, and content that qualifies as special category data relies on explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a). The eight data-subject rights are listed with a one calendar month response window and a single contact point, info@recallify.ai. A Data Protection Lead, M. Berkan Sesen, is named. The company is ICO-registered under ZB860514, holds Cyber Essentials certification, and commits to notifying the ICO of a qualifying breach within 72 hours. No Article 27 EU representative is designated, consistent with a UK-only controller.
Who owns the data?
You keep ownership of everything you put into Recallify. TinieAI Ltd takes only a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display your content for the single purpose of running the service, including passing it to the AI sub-processors described by category in the privacy policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. The company states that it does not sell your content, does not use it for advertising, and that its AI providers are contractually barred from training their models on it. Original recordings are never kept: the file is processed and then deleted, leaving your device as the only lasting copy.
Reuse rights
Your content stays yours to reuse freely. Nothing in the terms restricts what you do with your own recordings, transcripts, summaries, tasks or quizzes, and no permission from TinieAI Ltd is required. You can export individual recordings and transcriptions from the app at any time, share any memory through the built-in Share button, which sends the audio together with the transcription and metadata as a .txt file, and request a full copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format by email. Responsibility runs the other way too: you must have the right to record or upload the material in the first place, including the consent of anyone whose voice, image or information appears in it, and recording law differs between jurisdictions. AI output can contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before you rely on it.

Hosting summary
Recallify stores user information in the United Kingdom and the European Union, which TinieAI Ltd describes as mutually adequate for data protection. Some processing, specifically AI transcription and summarisation, is carried out by specialist providers that may handle content in the United States. For those transfers the company relies on one or more of UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, and states that it runs a transfer impact assessment for every destination without a UK adequacy decision. Content sent out for processing is deleted once the task is complete, and original recordings are never stored online at all. Data is encrypted in transit between device and servers and at rest in cloud storage, with production access limited to authorised staff. The hosting providers themselves are identified only by category, never by name. Separately, the marketing website resolves to an IP address in Amsterdam on Namecheap infrastructure, which concerns the site rather than the application.
