Overview

What is ReimagineHome?

ReimagineHome is an AI design platform from Styldod, Inc., a Delaware company, that turns a photograph of a real space into photorealistic design and virtual staging outputs. It runs in the browser and as an Android app.

The starting point is always the space as it exists - a room, an exterior, a garden or a 2D floor plan - rather than a blank canvas. You describe the outcome you want in ordinary language, and the tool builds toward it. By default it applies a structural lock: walls, windows and ceiling lines stay put unless you explicitly ask for them to change. That constraint is the product's central argument, and it is what separates it from a general image generator.

The workflow is conversational. A design companion reads the room's layout, lighting and proportions, then proposes directions. You can attach a reference photo or moodboard and say how much to borrow from it, down to a single object. Edits are incremental and keep their context, so you can swap a rug without losing the bed and nightstands.

Its most distinctive feature is real shoppable products. Given a budget and a ZIP code, the tool sources actual furniture and decor from third-party retailers, places them in your room, prices the set live, and lets you push the whole basket to a cart on Amazon or Shopify. Payment happens with the retailer, never with ReimagineHome, which earns an affiliate commission on qualifying purchases.

Twenty-three named solutions cover virtual staging, emptying a space, object removal, landscaping, hardscaping, pools, surface restyling, wall repainting, sky replacement, day-to-dusk conversion, seasonal resets, upscaling and straightening. For property professionals, a batch mode ingests up to 50 listing photos, sorts them by room, flags compliance issues and exports a gallery in two to five minutes.

The company claims 2.1 million users, 30 million designs and coverage across more than 185 countries. Rendering takes six to ten seconds. There is no public API, and team features are not yet available. A sister brand, dormtok, shares the same terms and privacy policy.

What it does

  • Stage an empty room or restyle a furnished one from a single photo
  • Strip a space back to bare walls, or remove individual objects and clutter
  • Furnish a scene with real, purchasable products filtered by budget and ZIP code
  • Redesign gardens, patios, lawns and pool areas from an exterior shot
  • Turn a 2D floor plan into a photorealistic furnished 3D scene
  • Process up to 50 listing photos in one pass, sorted by room and flagged for compliance
  • Repaint walls, restyle surfaces, replace skies and shift a shot from day to dusk

When to use ReimagineHome / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if ReimagineHome is the right fit.

When to use ReimagineHome

  • Real estate agents and brokers who need listing-ready photos, including batch runs of up to 50 images per property
  • Interior designers and decorators exploring directions with a client before committing to a specification
  • Homeowners weighing a $3,000 to $15,000 furniture or renovation decision who want to see and price it first
  • Landscape architects and outdoor designers previewing gardens, patios, pools and hardscaping on the real plot
  • Property managers and developers turning floor plans or dated rooms into marketing-ready visuals

When not to use ReimagineHome

  • Anyone needing construction drawings, permits or code-compliant plans: outputs are explicitly not to scale and not professional advice
  • Teams wanting shared seats, roles or a collaborative workspace, which the vendor says are still in development
  • Developers looking to call the tool programmatically, since there is no public API - only case-by-case enterprise embeds
  • Agencies that must ship white-labelled or custom-watermarked deliverables, a capability listed as not yet built
  • Users under 18, and anyone whose subject matter falls outside home, dorm and property imagery

How to use ReimagineHome

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account: the first five designs are free and no payment card is required
  2. Upload a photo of the room, exterior, garden or floor plan you are deciding on
  3. Describe the outcome in plain language; the design companion reads layout, lighting and proportions first
  4. Leave the structural lock on to preserve walls, windows and ceiling lines, or turn it off to allow changes
  5. Optionally attach a reference image or moodboard and state how much of it to borrow
  6. Set a budget and ZIP code if you want the design furnished with real, purchasable products
  7. Refine one element at a time; each instruction builds on the last rather than restarting
  8. Compare directions side by side before settling on one
  9. Download the result in high resolution and watermark-free, or send the product set to an Amazon or Shopify cart
  10. For a listing, upload the full set of up to 50 photos and export a room-sorted gallery

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how ReimagineHome handles your data.

GDPR overview

The site never uses the term GDPR, and that absence is worth stating plainly: there is no compliance claim to quote. What the privacy policy does carry is substantive. It sets out legal bases for EEA and UK users - contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligation - and lists rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent, plus the right to complain to a supervisory authority. International transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and adequacy decisions. Consent is requested for non-essential cookies and Global Privacy Control signals are honoured. One gap is explicit: Styldod states that no EEA or UK Article 27 representative has been appointed, only that one will be when required. No DPA is published. Policy effective 17 July 2026.

Who owns the data?

Under the Terms of Use you keep ownership of everything you upload: photos, prompts, annotations, reference images and project details. By submitting it you grant Styldod, Inc. and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, transmit and display that content and to generate outputs from it, including training, fine-tuning and evaluating models operated by or for Styldod. Generated outputs are yours to use commercially, though the vendor warns they may not be unique and that similar images can be produced for other users. The platform itself - software, interface, models and branding - remains Styldod property.

Reuse rights

Yes, within limits. The Terms allow outputs to be used for personal or commercial purposes permitted by your plan, and the FAQ confirms that every generated design is royalty-free for commercial use, MLS submissions and client presentations included. No separate permission is needed. Three conditions attach. You remain responsible for holding the rights to whatever you upload, since the vendor clears nothing on your source photos. You must review outputs before publishing and add any disclosure that MLS rules, advertising law or platform policy require for digitally altered images, and you may not strip AI labels where those rules demand them. Finally, outputs, prompts and service data may not be used to train competing AI systems without permission.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Account data, uploads, generated designs and project history are kept while the account is active or until you delete the item. Once account deletion is requested, a 14-day window opens, revocable by email, after which the data is deleted or anonymised - except records that must be kept for legal, tax, billing, fraud or dispute reasons. Longer periods apply elsewhere: payment, invoice and tax records for around seven years; security, fraud and moderation logs for up to three years; analytics, crash and diagnostics data for up to 24 months; support conversations for up to three years after resolution. Backups may hold deleted data briefly before being overwritten. Deletion can be started in the app or through the public deletion page, and may cancel active subscriptions and credits. Policy effective 17 July 2026.

Hosting summary

Styldod, Inc. is based in the United States, and the privacy policy states that information may be processed there and in other countries where the company or its service providers operate. No hosting country other than the United States is named, and no specific region or data centre is disclosed. Where transfers require safeguards, the policy relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, adequacy decisions and contractual commitments from providers. Section 8 names the third parties involved rather than publishing a formal subprocessor register: cloud hosting, storage and CDN providers, AI model and image-processing providers, Paddle and Stripe for payments, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Sentry for crash reporting. The security measures listed are encrypted transmission, access controls, secure infrastructure, monitoring, vulnerability management and internal access limits. No certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed anywhere on the site, and there is no dedicated trust or security page. Data residency cannot be chosen.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ReimagineHome.

  • Outputs are visualisations, not plans: explicitly not to scale, and never a basis for construction, permitting, electrical or structural decisions without a qualified professional
  • Photoreal staging can mislead buyers and tenants, and disclosure rules for digitally altered images fall on you, not the vendor - MLS and advertising penalties land on your side
  • Your uploads help train Styldod's models by default; the opt-out is real but must be requested, and nothing happens if you never read Section 7 of the privacy policy
  • Confidence is the product being sold, and a rendering that looks buildable is not evidence that it is affordable, available or structurally possible
  • Third-party product prices, dimensions and availability may be wrong or stale, and the affiliate commission gives the vendor an interest in your clicking through
  • Subscription credits expire monthly and refunds are narrow, so a month you did not use is simply lost
  • EEA and UK users have no Article 27 representative to address and no DPA to sign, which may block procurement in regulated organisations
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. ReimagineHome is a hosted web application with an Android companion app: nothing is installed and no integration work is needed, since there is no API to wire up. You create an account, upload a photo and describe the outcome in ordinary language - the vendor states that no design skills are required and that the flow is conversation-first rather than prompt-heavy. A prompt guide is published for users who want sharper results. The first five designs need no payment details. On mobile, the app requests camera and photo library permissions only when a feature needs them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free plan?
There is a free trial rather than a free plan. Every new account gets five designs on the same AI as the paid tiers, with no card required. Once they are used, a paid subscription is needed to continue.
How much does it cost?
Paid plans run from USD 14 to USD 99 per month: Essential at 14 with 30 credits, Pro at 29 with 200, Advanced at 49 with 400 and Agency at 99 with 900. Note that the vendor's own FAQ quotes a 36 dollar entry point, which contradicts its pricing page.
How do credits work?
One credit per design or visualisation, two when real product matching is included, and none at all for conversation, idea exploration or refining a brief before generating. Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
Will it change the structure of my room?
Only if you ask. A structural lock is applied by default, so walls, windows and ceiling lines are preserved while staging, finishes, lighting and objects change.
Can I use the images for a listing or for client work?
Yes. Outputs are royalty-free for commercial use, including MLS submissions and property marketing. You remain responsible for complying with MLS, advertising and disclosure rules on digitally altered images, and must not remove AI labels where they are required.
Is there an API?
No. The vendor states that it does not currently offer one and points enterprises to hosted sub-domain or HTML widget embeds, discussed case by case.
Are my photos used to train AI models?
Private uploads and outputs are not used to train third-party public foundation models without your express opt-in. They may be used to train models operated by or for Styldod, and you can opt out at any time by email or through account settings.
Can I get a refund?
Only within a narrow window: seven days from the initial purchase, fewer than ten credits used, and the subscription cancelled. EEA and UK consumers may also hold a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Cancelling stops renewal but does not refund the current period.
What is the minimum age?
Eighteen. The service is not intended for anyone younger, and an account may not be created below that age.
Which files can I upload, and how long does a design take?
PNG, JPEG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC and HEIF, up to 25 MB per photo, with at least one side over 1024 pixels for best results. Rendering takes six to ten seconds, plus fifteen to thirty for the design companion to reply.
Conclusion

Should you pick ReimagineHome?

ReimagineHome is a mature product from an established vendor rather than a weekend AI toy: Styldod, Inc. registered the domain in December 2022 and the site has been archived since January 2023. Its argument is narrow and well made. Most AI image tools produce rooms that look convincing and collapse the moment someone has to act on them; this one constrains the model to the architecture that is actually there, then makes the result costable by sourcing real furniture with live prices and a route to checkout.

That combination - structural lock plus shoppable products - is the reason to choose it over a general generator, and it serves the two groups it courts hardest: agents who need listing photos that survive scrutiny, and homeowners about to spend five figures on furniture. The batch workflow for listing sets is a genuine time saver for property professionals.

The reservations are commercial and contractual rather than technical. There is no permanent free tier, credits vanish at the end of each cycle, and the refund window is tight. There is no API, no team seats and no white-labelling, which caps how far an agency can build on it. Liability is limited to $100 or a year of fees, and disputes go to individual arbitration under Delaware law.

Buyers in Europe should read the privacy policy closely. It is unusually detailed on retention, it names its processors, and it offers a real opt-out from model training - but the word GDPR never appears, no Article 27 representative has been appointed, and no data processing agreement is published.

One practical warning: the site contradicts itself on prices and credit allowances between its pricing page and its FAQ. Confirm the current terms at checkout before committing.
