ResolveAI
ResolveAI trains a custom AI chatbot on a small business's own web pages, documents and Google Drive files, then publishes it as a site widget or on WhatsApp, Messenger and Slack, with no code and live human handover.
What is ResolveAI?
ResolveAI is a no-code SaaS platform for building custom AI chatbots trained on a company's own content. The pitch on the home page is direct: Easily connect your website pages, documents and other data resources to train a 24/7 custom AI ChatGPT for your business. No coding required.
Training sources cover website pages, files and documents, free text, Google Drive and live sources such as Google Sheets, which the platform re-syncs so the answers stay current. The entry plan caps sources at 20 and the training volume at 500,000 characters; higher plans lift the source limit entirely and raise the volume to 5 million characters, then to 10 million, or unlimited if you plug in your own OpenAI key. AI message quotas follow the same ladder: 2,000 a month, then 4,000, then 6,000 unless your own OpenAI key removes the ceiling. The engines behind the answers are ChatGPT 3.5 turbo on the entry plan, and ChatGPT 4 alongside 3.5 turbo above it.
Two bot types exist. A classic chatbot answers from its training material; an AI Agent can also use tools. Those tools are API Tools: third-party HTTP endpoints the bot calls mid-conversation, with parameters described in plain language and a documented AccuWeather example. This is the reverse of a developer API, since ResolveAI calls other services rather than exposing one of its own.
Deployment covers a website widget, WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger and Slack, with an official WordPress plugin published on wordpress.org, plus Shopify, Wix and an embed snippet for any site. Zapier and Make handle automation, and a booking assistant connects to Google Calendar with multi-calendar support. The persona is configurable, from tone and communication style to brand alignment, and a supervision dashboard shows every live chat so a human can take over, notified with a conversation summary.
Four public demo bots, built around Donald Trump, Tesla, Mercury and Airbnb, can be tried without an account. Setup is advertised at five minutes. The publisher is OnClick Solutions Ltd, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, which acquired ResolveAI in June 2024, and the declared target is small and medium businesses.
What it does
- Train an AI assistant on your own website pages, files, documents and live data sources
- Answer customers 24/7/365, in any language, from that training material
- Capture leads and ask qualifying questions during the conversation
- Book and schedule appointments through Google Calendar, across several calendars
- Hand a conversation over to a human, with an alert and an automatic summary
- Publish the same assistant on a website, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Slack
- Trigger third-party API calls mid-conversation through API Tools
When to use ResolveAI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if ResolveAI is the right fit.
When to use ResolveAI
- Small and medium businesses that want 24/7 customer answers without adding headcount, on a budget starting at 9 USD a month
- WordPress, Shopify and Wix site owners who need a branded chat widget installed by copy-pasting a snippet, with no developer involved
- Support teams looking to absorb the first layer of customer inquiries and hand the harder ones to a human, with an automatic conversation summary
- Sales and marketing teams qualifying leads around the clock, answering pre-sales questions and booking meetings through Google Calendar
- Operations and HR teams that want an internal, searchable knowledge base inside Slack, including for onboarding new employees
When not to use ResolveAI
- Organizations handling regulated data: the terms state the site is not tailored to HIPAA, FISMA or GLBA and that you may not use it if your interactions fall under such laws
- European buyers with a data protection checklist: GDPR is never mentioned, no data processing agreement is offered, no Article 27 representative is named and no subprocessor list is published
- Developer teams that need a public API to embed or orchestrate the assistant: ResolveAI exposes none, and its API Tools work the other way round, calling third-party endpoints
- Companies that want native mobile apps or a permanent free tier: there is no iOS or Android app, and no free plan beyond the 10-day trial
- High-volume deployments run without a personal OpenAI key, capped at 2,000 AI messages a month on Basic and 4,000 on Enhanced, and audiences under 18, who are excluded by both legal documents
How to use ResolveAI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Try one of the four public demo chatbots first: no account is needed to see how the assistant behaves
- Create an account on the signup page; the trial is fully functional and asks for no credit card
- Describe the bot's mission with a direct prompt, for example that it is a customer service agent answering FAQ questions
- Open the Training Center and add your data sources: website pages, documents and files, free text, Google Drive or Google Sheets
- Let the sources sync, then adjust the persona to your business: tone, communication style and brand alignment
- Set up notifications, including the option to be emailed only about unresolved requests, so a human can take over at the right moment
- Optional, for an AI Agent: create an API Tool with a name and a description the AI uses to decide when to call it, declare its parameters in plain language, mark those that are required, and set the endpoint in the Action tab
- Optional: create a chatbot of type AI Agent and assign the tools to it in the Tools tab
- Publish: copy the widget code from the dashboard and paste it into your site, or install and activate the official WordPress plugin from wordpress.org
- Extend to other channels with the step-by-step guides for Shopify, Wix, WhatsApp, Messenger, Slack and Google Calendar
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Very low entry price at 9 USD a month, presented by the vendor as one of the lowest on the market, with two months free on annual billing
- Fully functional 10-day trial with no credit card, and a full refund if requested within seven days of a payment
- Multichannel from the entry plan: WhatsApp, Messenger and Slack are included on Basic, not reserved for higher tiers
- Human handover with conversation summary included on every plan, so the bot never becomes a dead end
- API Tools available from the entry plan, giving a bot that can query external systems mid-conversation
- No-code setup advertised at five minutes, with an official WordPress plugin on wordpress.org and step-by-step guides for each platform
- Four public demos playable without an account, and the option to use your own OpenAI key to lift message and character caps
Cons
- No GDPR compliance claimed anywhere: no data processing agreement, no Article 27 representative, no subprocessor list, and no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
- No published position on whether customer data is used to train models, and no training opt-out documented in any direction
- Legal documents generated from a Termly template and visibly unreviewed: an Israeli company, Canadian governing law and hosting, arbitration in Barrie under the rules of a Brussels chamber
- A live contradiction on the trial length: 14 days in the terms against 10 days on the site, the pricing page and the blog
- Legal documents untouched since 29 December 2022 and 12 January 2023, and a blog whose last post dates from June 2024
- Partly unfinished site: the /faq/ page still shows theme lorem ipsum, /industries/ and /solutions/ are empty, and several Create Chatbot buttons point to sierra.keydesign.xyz, the WordPress theme's demo site
- No developer API, no mobile app, no permanent free plan, tight message quotas without a personal OpenAI key, and announced models limited to ChatGPT 3.5 turbo and ChatGPT 4
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. ResolveAI is sold by subscription only, with a lowest price point of 9.00 USD per month for the Basic plan, or 90.00 USD per year. Enhanced costs 29.00 USD per month or 290.00 USD per year, and Expert 79.00 USD per month or 790.00 USD per year, annual billing being equivalent to two months free. A 10-day free trial gives access to a fully functional account without a credit card. Optional add-ons are billed separately: an extra chatbot at 9, 19 or 49 USD per month depending on the plan, and branding removal at 39.00 USD per month or 390.00 USD per year. All payments are made in United States dollars by Visa or Mastercard, processed by Stripe, with sales tax added where applicable. A full refund may be requested within seven days of payment, and the subscription may be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how ResolveAI handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no GDPR implementation to report. The words GDPR and General Data Protection Regulation appear nowhere on resolveai.co, in the privacy notice of 29 December 2022 or in the terms of 12 January 2023. The privacy notice is a Termly template written for United States law: it covers the CCPA, California's Shine The Light rule and Do-Not-Track, with no legal basis, no standard contractual clauses, no designated DPO, no Article 27 EU representative and no data processing agreement. Generic rights are offered, including withdrawal of consent, objection, rectification, restriction, erasure, marketing opt-out and use of an authorised agent, exercised through the help centre page or contact@resolveai.co, but none of them is tied to the Regulation. Clause 15 of the terms transfers data to Canada under Canadian law. Israel benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision, but the site never invokes it.
Who owns the data?
The controller named in the privacy notice, last updated on 29 December 2022, is OnClick Solutions Ltd, 4 Laskov St, Tel Aviv 6473604, Israel. Clause 10 of the terms is explicit on your side: the publisher asserts no ownership over your Contributions, and you keep full ownership of them and of the related intellectual property rights. Clause 12 goes the other way: any question, comment, suggestion, idea or feedback about the site, called a Submission, is treated as non-confidential and becomes the publisher's sole property. Clause 24 disclaims all liability for loss or corruption of transmitted data. Payment card data is held by Stripe, never by the publisher. Privacy contact: contact@resolveai.co.
Reuse rights
Because you keep ownership of your Contributions, you may reuse the content you upload as you wish, without asking permission. The publisher, for its part, states in the privacy notice of 29 December 2022 that it processes personal data to create and manage accounts, answer requests, send administrative information, enable communication between users, gather feedback and publish testimonials, run marketing with an opt-out, secure the service and prevent fraud, improve the product, analyse usage trends and measure campaigns. Declared collection covers names, email addresses and phone numbers, plus automatic capture of IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, referring URL, country and geolocation; since June 2024 the product also records browser, location, IP and device for every conversation. Sharing is limited to business transfers such as a merger or sale, the Google Maps API, and other users for content posted publicly. Sensitive data is not processed and no data is received from third parties. The CCPA statement is unambiguous: We have not disclosed, sold, or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. One silence matters: no document says whether customer data, conversations or training sources are used to train AI models, and no opt-out is offered.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The only hosting statement in the whole corpus is one sentence in clause 15 of the terms: Please be advised the Site is hosted in Canada. The same clause adds that continued use transfers your data to Canada for processing, and the contract is governed by Canadian law. No EU region is offered and there is no data residency option of any kind. The publisher, OnClick Solutions Ltd, is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, while the domain is served behind Cloudflare (AS13335, anycast IP 172.67.74.209), which says nothing about where the real infrastructure sits. No subprocessor list is published; only Stripe for payments and Google for Maps and Calendar are named in passing in the privacy notice. No hosting or security certification is displayed, neither SOC 2 nor ISO 27001, and security is described only as appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational measures, with no detail and no documented encryption. Since the legal documents come from a Termly template, the Canadian hosting statement should be confirmed with the vendor before being relied upon.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting ResolveAI.
- No GDPR footprint at all: the word appears in no page and no legal document, there is no Article 27 EU representative, no data processing agreement and no subprocessor list. A European buyer has nothing to audit and nothing to sign.
- Total silence on model training: nothing states whether conversations, uploaded documents and training sources feed AI models, and no opt-out is documented, while the assistant runs on ChatGPT engines.
- Legal file visibly unreviewed and stale: a Termly template for an Israeli company that declares Canadian law and hosting, arbitration in Barrie under the rules of a Brussels chamber and United States FAR/DFARS clauses, unchanged since 29 December 2022 and 12 January 2023, with rights exercised through a plain HTTP help-centre address whose existence is not confirmed and a single contact email obfuscated by Cloudflare.
- Contradiction on the free trial: 14 days in the terms against 10 days on the site, the pricing page and the blog. Read the counter before assuming either figure.
- Maintenance signals to weigh before committing: the /faq/ page still displays theme lorem ipsum, /industries/ and /solutions/ are empty, several Create Chatbot buttons point to the WordPress theme's demo site, and the last blog post dates from June 2024.
- Delegation risk: an assistant answering customers in your name will sometimes answer wrongly, the terms exclude any use falling under HIPAA, FISMA or GLBA, and clause 24 disclaims liability for lost or corrupted data. Keep a human reviewing conversations rather than leaving the bot unattended on sensitive topics.
- Name confusion to avoid: resolve.ai is a different, unrelated United States company working on DevOps. Nothing published about it applies to resolveai.co, including funding figures.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the standard path. ResolveAI advertises a five-minute setup with no code: you design the bot in the dashboard, then copy and paste a widget snippet into your site. The official WordPress plugin only needs installing and activating, and step-by-step guides cover Shopify, Wix, WhatsApp, Messenger, Slack and Google Calendar. Two areas are more technical: configuring an API Tool requires knowing the third-party HTTP endpoint to call, its parameters and an API key for it; and using your own OpenAI key on the Expert plan presupposes an OpenAI account.

Should you pick ResolveAI?
ResolveAI occupies a clear position: an affordable chatbot that a small business can put live quickly. Its strength is the ratio of features to price. From 9 USD a month you get multichannel publishing on a website widget, WhatsApp, Messenger and Slack, human handover with a conversation summary, a Google Calendar booking assistant and API Tools that let the bot query external systems, capabilities usually reserved for far more expensive tiers. Setup needs no code, an official WordPress plugin exists, and the 10-day trial runs on a fully functional account without a credit card.
The weakness is the legal and compliance file, and it is serious. GDPR is never mentioned, anywhere on the site or in its documents. There is no data processing agreement, no EU representative, no subprocessor list, no security certification, and not one line on whether customer data is used to train models. The Termly-generated documents look unreviewed: an Israeli company, Canadian governing law and hosting, arbitration in Barrie under the rules of a Brussels chamber. They also contradict the site on the trial length, 14 days against 10 days, and have not been touched since December 2022 and January 2023.
Maintenance signals point the same way: the blog stopped in June 2024, the FAQ page still shows theme placeholder text, two section pages are empty, and the announced engines are ChatGPT 3.5 turbo and ChatGPT 4. The June 2024 acquisition by OnClick Solutions Ltd left the product on sale and documented, but did not visibly refresh the site.
Yes for a small business, a freelancer or an online store that wants a cheap multichannel bot on non-sensitive content. No for any organisation with a procurement checklist, regulated data, a European data protection officer or a need for a developer API.
