GDPR overview
Saner.AI invokes the GDPR without documenting a full compliance program. The privacy policy states that optional ADHD-status data is "securely stored in compliance with GDPR", and a dedicated Supervisory Authority section tells EEA and UK residents they may lodge a complaint with their regulator. Rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, non-discrimination and appeal are listed, with a thirty-day response commitment through contact@saner.ai. What is missing is just as telling: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, no data processing agreement is offered, no subprocessor list is published and no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification is claimed. Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service you keep ownership of everything you put into Saner.AI: "Aside from our limited right to your content, you retain all of your rights to the content you post, link, share, publish and otherwise make available on or through the Service." The publisher takes only the limited license it needs to run the service, states that it does not sell the information it collects to advertisers or third parties, and does not train on it. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, you can export your notes from a built-in feature, and requests are answered within thirty days through contact@saner.ai.
Reuse rights
Saner.AI collects account details (name, email, password, an optional profile picture, Google social login), the content of your messages, payment information handled by external processors rather than stored directly, your IP address, cookie identifiers and usage data. ADHD status is collected only if you volunteer it, under explicit consent you can withdraw. The legal bases claimed are consent, legitimate interests, performance of the contract, legal obligations and vital interests; the purposes are account creation, support, security, fraud prevention and administrative or marketing messages you can unsubscribe from. Connecting Gmail and Google Drive gives the app access to email and file content and metadata under the Google API Services User Data Policy, Limited Use included, and Workspace data is explicitly excluded from developing, improving or training generalized AI and ML models.
