Overview

What is Seatext?

Seatext layers autonomous marketing agents onto a website that already exists. Installation is a single JavaScript snippet pasted before the closing body tag — theme.liquid on Shopify, index.html on React, Vue or Angular — and the vendor supplies dedicated guides for twenty-four platforms. The script stays inert until an agent is switched on. One account is bound to one primary domain, so running several sites means running several accounts.

The catalogue holds more than twenty agents, activated individually from a dashboard the vendor calls the Main AI Hub. The translation agent renders pages into 125 languages and regional variants — Latin American against European Spanish, Brazilian against European Portuguese, Simplified against Traditional Chinese — processing at the Cloudflare network edge in a claimed 2.8 to 15 milliseconds with no cumulative layout shift, and injecting hreflang tags and multilingual XML sitemaps so that no subdomain per market is needed. The CRO testing agent writes alternative headlines, calls to action, proof points and product copy, shows them to real visitors and leaves the better-converting version live. Around those two, other agents rewrite landing pages to match the Google Ads keyword behind each paid click, adapt copy to the referring source or to a named account pulled from a CRM, publish crawlable question-and-answer pages and buying guides, optimise product names and descriptions across large catalogues, and structure proof and comparison content so that ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews have something to cite.

A second family works on traffic quality rather than wording. The Bot Refund agent records suspicious paid sessions and assembles evidence reports intended for submission to Google, Meta, TikTok or Reddit; a server-side shield blocks automated signups, logins, checkouts and form spam; pixel protection stops bots from training advertising algorithms. A chat agent, advertised as permanently free, learns the site without any knowledge-base upload and opens in four modes, including end-of-page rescue and exit intent.

Editorial control is genuine: an in-context visual editor, a glossary and Brand Memory for protected terms, a notranslate class and URL exclusion rules. Seatext is led by founder and chief executive Sergei Gluhov and by chief technology officer Yessi Montoya. The site claims 2,500-plus brands and 45 million daily visitors. LLM work runs on Google Gemini; service data sits with MongoDB.

  • Translate an entire website into 125 languages and regional variants at the network edge
  • Rewrite a landing page in real time to match the Google Ads keyword that triggered the click
  • Detect invalid and bot clicks in paid traffic and assemble evidence reports for Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit

  • Adapt page copy to the visitor's traffic source, campaign, device, location or target account
  • Run a site-aware AI sales chat that answers objections and captures leads
Audience

When to use Seatext / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Seatext is the right fit.

When to use Seatext

  • Marketing and growth teams who want to test website copy continuously without commissioning a redesign or a new CMS
  • E-commerce operators with large catalogues, who need product names, descriptions and CTAs optimised across thousands of SKUs
  • Companies selling internationally that cannot fund a dedicated localisation project but need 125 languages live quickly
  • Google Ads and Meta advertisers with meaningful paid budgets, who want keyword-matched landing pages and evidence reports for invalid clicks
  • Small teams and solo founders with no in-house CRO specialist and no agency, for whom a single 59 USD monthly subscription replaces several tools
  • Growth agencies running several client sites, provided they accept one Seatext account per domain

When not to use Seatext

  • Organisations that require a contractual opt-out from AI model training: the privacy policy states customer data feeds model development and documents no exclusion mechanism
  • Buyers who need a named support channel or a service-level commitment: the site publishes a single personal email address, no contact form and no reachable help centre
  • Anyone under 18, who is excluded both by the terms of service and by the privacy policy
  • Teams that need to drive the product programmatically: no public API documentation exists anywhere on the site
  • Developers working on localhost or dynamic staging domains, which the vendor explicitly blocks
  • Procurement teams that must obtain proof of the ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certifications displayed on the About page, since no certificate number or certification body is published
  • Companies wanting to cover several websites from one subscription, as each domain requires its own account
Get started

How to use Seatext

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Create an account on the Seatext login portal — the account must exist before the script can be installed
  2. Copy the generated JavaScript snippet, which stores a Seatext identifier in local storage and loads the agent script asynchronously
  3. Paste the snippet immediately before the closing body tag: theme.liquid on Shopify, public/index.html on React or Vue, src/index.html on Angular
  4. Follow the dedicated integration page if your stack is one of the twenty-four documented platforms, from WordPress and Webflow to Odoo and Thinkific
  5. Visit or refresh your own site several times and stay on the page for at least forty seconds so that the AI activates and links itself to your account
  6. Wait up to five minutes — ten in the worst case — until your site name appears next to the Seatext logo, confirming the connection
  7. Open the Main AI Hub and activate the agents you actually need, page by page
  8. Adjust each agent through the Configuration panel to set its scope and parameters
  9. Wrap product descriptions in a data-seatextonly element if you are running the e-commerce copy agent on a store
  10. Review or rewrite anything the AI produced through Variants Edit, and exclude sensitive blocks with the notranslate class or URL rules

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • One flat subscription at 59 USD per month unlocks every agent, with no per-agent charge, no per-word translation fee and no traffic metering
  • A permanent free tier with eight agents and no credit card, plus a chat agent advertised as entirely free
  • Installs as a snippet on an existing site with no redesign, no migration and no CMS change, with twenty-four platform-specific guides
  • A data processing addendum is published in full, with a named subprocessor annex — MongoDB and Google Gemini — which is rare at this price point
  • Contractual timings are actually quantified: 48-hour breach notification, 30 days' notice on new subprocessors, 60-day deletion, one audit a year
  • Editorial control is preserved through an in-context visual editor, a brand glossary and explicit exclusion rules
  • Multilingual SEO is handled automatically, with hreflang tags and XML sitemaps generated on a single domain rather than market subdomains

Cons

  • Customer data explicitly feeds Seatext's machine-learning models and no opt-out is documented anywhere on the site
  • Three different legal names appear across the site — Seatext Corp in the terms, Seatext LLC in the privacy policy and addendum, Seatext AI in the footer — so the contracting entity is unsettled
  • A single personal email address, obfuscated on every page, serves legal, GDPR, addendum and general contact alike; there is no contact page and no working help centre
  • Fourteen of the sixteen documentation links in the help menu return the homepage instead of their page
  • ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 are displayed as certified without a certificate number, a certification body or a trust page to back them
  • Liability is capped at the lesser of six months of fees or one hundred US dollars, and Seatext may terminate access at any time with or without cause and without notice
  • The performance figures used throughout the site are vendor claims with no published methodology, while the terms themselves disclaim any guarantee of results

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Seatext handles your data.

GDPR overview

GDPR and CCPA compliance is claimed in as many words in the translation FAQ, on the technical argument that translations are processed in memory without storing personal visitor data. The documentation behind the claim is unusually complete for this price point: a published data processing addendum dated 2026-07-21, EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Module Two and Module Three) plus the UK Addendum, a named subprocessor annex, breach notification without undue delay and where feasible within 48 hours, 30 days' notice before a new subprocessor, one customer audit per twelve-month period, and deletion within 60 days of termination. Legal bases cited are contract, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligation, and the full list of data subject rights is set out. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, and no data protection officer is named — every request goes to one personal mailbox.

Who owns the data?

Ownership is split, and the contracting entity is not consistent across the site. The terms are signed with Seatext Corp, a Delaware corporation, while the privacy policy and the data processing addendum both name Seatext LLC. Seatext retains all rights in the service and its intellectual property. Content you submit or create through the platform remains yours, but you grant Seatext a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in order to deliver the service. Under the addendum the customer is the controller and Seatext the processor, acting on documented instructions only. Data can be exported during the term, and is returned or deleted within sixty days of termination at the customer's written choice.

Reuse rights

Whatever the agents produce on your own domain is yours to keep and reuse without asking: translations, copy variants, generated question-and-answer pages and product descriptions are published on your site and remain editable in the in-context visual editor, with a glossary, a notranslate class and URL exclusion rules to keep designated blocks untouched. The traffic runs the other way too. The privacy policy states plainly that customer data, visitor interaction data, website text, translation data, experiment data and bot-detection signals are used to develop, test, evaluate and improve Seatext's products, algorithms, analytics and machine-learning models, and no opt-out is documented anywhere. Seatext undertakes not to sell customer content to third parties for model training and not to let third parties train their own models on it without express authorisation; the two named subprocessors are MongoDB, Inc. for storage and Google LLC for Gemini LLM processing. Customer names and logos may also be used promotionally unless you object in writing.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Seatext keeps personal data for as long as it needs it to run the service, manage accounts, meet legal obligations, settle disputes, enforce agreements and prevent fraud. Account information is kept while the account is active. Billing and transaction records follow tax and accounting law. Support exchanges are kept as business records, and security and fraud-prevention logs for as long as protecting the service requires. Data processed inside the product follows the customer's own account settings, contract or instructions. Seatext may delete, anonymise or aggregate information once it is no longer needed. After termination, the addendum gives sixty days for customer personal data to be returned or deleted at the customer's written choice, with backups overwritten in the normal backup cycle. No fixed retention period is published for visitor data, and no zero-retention option is offered.

Hosting summary

The privacy policy and the data processing addendum both state that personal data may be processed and stored in the United States and in any other country where Seatext, its service providers or its infrastructure providers operate. No other country is named, and customers cannot choose a hosting region. Transfers out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to jurisdictions without an adequacy decision rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms where required; the addendum incorporates Module Two and Module Three of the EU clauses plus the UK Addendum. Two subprocessors are named: MongoDB, Inc. holds service data, and Google LLC performs Gemini LLM processing for enabled AI features. Translation itself is described as running in memory at the Cloudflare network edge without storing personal visitor data, which is a vendor claim rather than a contractual commitment. The site's own IP address resolves to a Cloudflare anycast node and therefore says nothing about where data actually rests.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Seatext.

  • Customer data, website text, experiment data and bot-detection signals explicitly feed Seatext's machine-learning models, and no opt-out is documented — anything you run through the platform may improve a product your competitors also use
  • The tool rewrites the public copy of your site automatically and publishes generated pages under your name: on pages carrying prices, mandatory disclosures, health or financial claims, editorial liability stays with you while the wording comes from an AI
  • The corporate identity is unsettled — Seatext Corp in the terms, Seatext LLC in the privacy policy and addendum, Seatext AI in the footer — so it is not established which entity you would be contracting with, and no company registry could be reached to settle it
  • Support is a single personal email address hidden behind obfuscation, with no contact page, no form and a help centre whose links mostly return the homepage: there is no realistic escalation path if an agent misbehaves on live traffic
  • The ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 badges are shown as certified with no certificate number and no certification body, so a security claim that would normally be verifiable is not
  • Bot-detection processes browser fingerprints, IP addresses, ASN and proxy indicators on your visitors: the legal basis for that surveillance remains yours, as the addendum makes clear, and the refund reports depend entirely on policies Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit control
  • Delegating conversion work to always-on agents erodes the team's own feel for what its customers respond to: if the system keeps only what converts this quarter, nobody is left asking why, and liability capped at one hundred dollars will not compensate a brand-damaging rewrite
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low for anyone comfortable editing a theme file. One JavaScript line goes before the closing body tag, and twenty-four platform guides cover Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Magento, Odoo and the rest; on a single-page application it goes into index.html. No development skill is needed on a mainstream CMS. The friction comes afterwards: you must browse your own site for forty seconds to trigger activation, then wait five to ten minutes for the account link to appear. E-commerce copy optimisation adds a wrapper element around product descriptions. Localhost and dynamic staging domains are blocked, and each domain needs its own account.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is Seatext installed on an existing website?
A single JavaScript snippet is pasted immediately before the closing body tag — theme.liquid on Shopify, index.html on React, Vue or Angular — and dedicated guides exist for twenty-four platforms. The vendor claims installation takes under a minute. The script stays inert until you activate an agent. In practice you then have to browse your own site for at least forty seconds and wait five to ten minutes for the connection to appear.
What does Seatext cost?
Eight agents are permanently free with no credit card. The premium subscription is 59.00 USD per month and unlocks all twenty-plus agents, with no charge per agent, per word or per unit of traffic. Enterprise engagements are quoted individually. A one-month free pilot trial is mentioned next to the demo booking link.
How many languages does the translation agent handle?
The site advertises 125 languages, including regional variants such as Latin American against European Spanish, Brazilian against European Portuguese and Simplified against Traditional Chinese. Right-to-left languages including Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu are supported, with automatic text direction and layout adjustment. The full list of 125 languages is not published.
Do I have to rebuild or redesign my website?
No. Seatext modifies what visitors are served without replacing your design, your CMS or your publishing workflow. Pages are altered at the network edge or in the browser rather than in your source content, so no separate site or subdomain per market is created.
Can I review and correct what the AI writes?
Yes. An in-context visual editor lets you browse the live site in any language and edit any generated string. A glossary and Brand Memory preserve protected brand names, product titles and acronyms, and you can keep blocks untouched with the notranslate CSS class or URL exclusion rules configured in the dashboard.
Is my data used to train Seatext's AI models?
Yes. The privacy policy states that customer data, visitor interaction data, website text, translation data, experiment data and bot-detection signals are used to develop, test, evaluate and improve Seatext's products, algorithms, analytics and machine-learning models. No opt-out mechanism is documented. Seatext does undertake not to sell customer content to third parties for model training.
Is a data processing agreement available, and who are the subprocessors?
A data processing addendum is published in full, version 2026-07-21. Annex III names two current subprocessors: MongoDB, Inc. for database hosting and storage, and Google LLC for Gemini LLM processing of enabled AI features. Seatext commits to 30 days' notice before adding a new subprocessor, with a 15-day objection window.
Does Seatext offer an API?
No API documentation is published anywhere on the site. Integration is done exclusively through the JavaScript snippet, and the pages labelled documentation cover that snippet rather than a programmable interface. The privacy policy and the addendum do mention a Seatext API in passing, so one may exist without public documentation.
Does one subscription cover several websites?
No. Each Seatext account is tied to a single primary domain, and running the platform on several websites requires one account per website. Development URLs such as localhost are blocked for security reasons, and dynamic staging domains may not work reliably.
Where is the data hosted, and what is the minimum age?
The privacy policy and the addendum both state that personal data may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where Seatext, its service providers or its infrastructure providers operate; no other country is named. Transfers out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Users must be at least 18.
Conclusion

Should you pick Seatext?

Seatext makes an unusual offer: one snippet, one price, and a catalogue broad enough to cover work that normally requires a translation vendor, a testing platform, an SEO tool, a chat widget and a click-fraud service. At 59 USD a month for every agent, with eight of them permanently free, the price-to-scope ratio is hard to match, and the documentation behind it is better than the price suggests — a full data processing addendum, named subprocessors, and contractual timings that are actually quantified.

The reservations are not about the product so much as about the company behind it. Three legal names circulate across the site, so it is not clear which entity you would be contracting with. Every channel — legal, GDPR, addendum, sales — resolves to one personal mailbox, hidden behind email obfuscation, and most of the help centre links return the homepage. The ISO certifications on the About page carry no certificate number and no certification body. The privacy policy says outright that customer data trains Seatext's models, and offers no way out. Liability is capped at one hundred dollars.

The performance numbers should also be read for what they are: vendor claims without published methodology, in a document whose own terms disclaim any guarantee of results. That matters more than usual here, because the product rewrites the public copy of your website and publishes generated pages under your name — an appealing proposition on a marketing site, a decision that deserves scrutiny on pages carrying prices, regulated statements or health and financial claims.

For a small team that wants to experiment quickly and cheaply on a low-stakes site, Seatext is a reasonable bet. For a regulated environment or a procurement process, the gaps in corporate identity, support and verifiable certification need answering first.
