Seede AI
Seede AI is a browser-based AI graphic design tool for non-designers in marketing, HR and operations. Paste your text and it returns an editable mockup in seconds, from social posts to multi-page decks, with your wording kept intact.
What is Seede AI?
Seede AI is a browser-based AI graphic design editor published by Seedynamic Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. Its promise fits in one line: content in, design out. You give it an idea, a pasted text, an uploaded document or a website URL, and its in-house rendering engine, called an AI-Native rendering engine in the company's own job ads, returns a laid-out design in seconds. The differentiator is that the text you provide and its structure are kept 100% intact, with no rewriting, reformatting or truncation, and that what comes back is an editable canvas rather than a flat image: text, layers and images all remain modifiable.
The engine relies on third-party models. The pricing page names GPT 5.6 Sol, Claude Sonnet 5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro "and more" for design, and Nano Banana, GPT Image 2.0 and Flux for images, while section 2 of the terms defines "Third-Party AI Provider(s)" and cites OpenAI, Google and Anthropic as examples. Usage is metered in credits: generation, AI editing, image generation, retouching and batch runs consume them, whereas manual editing, layers, styling, asset replacement and standard export do not. Two generation modes coexist: Fast, the only one available on the free plan, and Pro, meant for complex layouts, multi-page PPT decks and retouching.
Around the canvas sits a fairly wide toolset: a template library browsable by category and tag, standalone free utilities (background removal, resizing, border adding, AI image generation), Brandkit from the Pro tier, which turns a website URL into a brand design system, real-time collaboration in shared workspaces, and asset storage from 200 MB up to 1 TB. Developers get API keys and an MCP server, with concurrent tasks capped by tier: 5 on Pro, 10 on Ultra. The plan grids also advertise a Cloud Agent and 24/7 uninterrupted cloud AI design.
The interface is available in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and the site claims content processing in 100+ languages and formats. There is no mobile application: the help center states that the tool is optimized for desktop use.
What it does
- Turn an idea or a pasted text into a first editable mockup in seconds
- Import a PDF or Word file (5 MB on the free plan, 15 MB beyond) or a Notion, Google Drive, Feishu, DingTalk or WPS page and have it laid out
- Generate a layout from the analysis of a website URL
- Edit text directly inside the design, without going through an image editor
- Replace or generate images, remove a background, upscale, vectorize or erase an object
- Export to PNG, JPG or WebP on the free plan, or to PDF, PPT, HTML and SVG in HD without watermark on paid credits
- Connect Seede from Cursor, Claude, VS Code or Codex through MCP, or create an API key for scripts and automations
When to use Seede AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Seede AI is the right fit.
When to use Seede AI
- Marketing, HR and operations teams that need visuals every week but have no dedicated designer
- Content creators and social media managers who publish a high volume of posts, posters and infographics
- Freelancers, founders and small businesses working without a design budget
- Teachers, students, recruiters and event organizers turning plain text into slide decks, posters and guides
- Anyone who has to lay out existing material: PDF and Word files, or pages stored in Notion, Google Drive, Feishu, DingTalk or WPS
When not to use Seede AI
- Mobile-first users: there is no mobile app, and the help center states that Seede.ai is optimized for desktop use
- Professional designers looking for a full vector environment of the Illustrator or Figma class
- Anyone who needs commercial output for free: the free plan is limited to personal exploration and its exports are watermarked PNG, JPG or WebP
- Teams building rival AI products: the terms forbid using the service or its outputs to train competing models
- Organizations that would base decisions with legal, financial or reputational impact on an identifiable person on the outputs, which the terms prohibit
How to use Seede AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account with an email address, Google or Apple: most features, including image generation, require one
- Claim your 20 welcome credits, valid for one year, and the 5 free credits offered every day, reset at 05:00 and not cumulative
- Describe what you want to design, or paste the text you already have
- Alternatively, import a PDF or Word file, connect a Notion, Google Drive, Feishu, DingTalk or WPS page, or point the tool at a website URL
- Let Seede create a first version: Fast mode on the free plan, Pro mode on paid credits for complex layouts and multi-page decks
- Improve the result by asking for changes in plain language in the AI chat panel, which also suggests palettes and layout options
- Edit manually on the canvas: text, layers, images and styles, none of which consumes credits
- Use the keyboard shortcuts documented in the Help Center for undo, grouping, zoom, bold and italic
- Export from the button at the top right, choosing the format and the resolution
- For the developer route, ask Cursor, Claude, VS Code or Codex to connect to Seede and authorize it in the browser, or create an API key in your settings
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The result is an editable design rather than a flat image: the text stays modifiable inside the layout
- The content you provide is preserved word for word, which avoids unwanted AI rewrites
- A permanent free plan with 5 credits a day on top of 20 welcome credits
- Credits are bought as one-off top-ups, with no subscription to cancel, and remain valid for 12 months
- Access to leading models (Gemini, Claude, GPT, Flux) without a separate subscription with each provider
- Manual editing, asset replacement and standard export consume no credits at all
- Ownership of the outputs is explicitly acknowledged to the user, and API plus MCP access is included from the Pro tier
Cons
- No mobile application: the help center presents the tool as optimized for desktop use
- Free exports are watermarked and limited to PNG, JPG and WebP, and commercial use is excluded from the free plan
- Credits expire after 12 months, cannot be extended or transferred, and are described in the terms as prepaid, non-refundable and non-redeemable
- No published data processing agreement, no named subprocessors, no Article 27 EU representative, and no documented way to exclude your data from model training
- No hosting country or region is stated anywhere on the site
- Liability capped at the greater of 12 months of payments and USD 50, exclusive Hong Kong jurisdiction, class action waiver, and accounts that may be suspended or terminated "for any reason or no reason", with possible loss of content
- Payment methods are limited to WeChat Pay and Alipay, and public documentation is thin because the pages are rendered in JavaScript and product docs are hard to reach without an account
Pricing & Plans
Seede AI offers a permanent free plan at USD 0, which includes 20 credits on sign-up and 5 credits a day. Paid access is sold as one-off credit top-ups rather than subscriptions: the entry point is the Basic pack at USD 29 for 80 credits, followed by Pro at USD 99 for 300 credits and Ultra at USD 199 for 700 credits. Purchased credits remain valid for twelve months. An Enterprise tier is available on request, with no published price. The pricing page advertises volume discounts on the credit packs of 25%, 33% and 40%, and its structured data declares an aggregate offer in USD with a low price of 0 across three offers. The payment methods shown are WeChat Pay and Alipay. Section 8 of the terms states that no refund is granted beyond seven days for subscription services, and the pricing FAQ indicates that requests are examined case by case at hi@seede.ai, depending on the purchase date and the credits already used.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Seede AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy contains an explicit "Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)" section listing six bases: contract, consent, legal obligations, legitimate interests, vital interests, and the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Section 5 grants access and confirmation, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, objection including to direct marketing, and the right to complain to a local authority; requests go to hi@seede.ai. Section 4 announces international transfers covered, for the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum where applicable, and technical and organizational measures. The policy took effect on 27 December 2025 and excludes children under 13. Missing, however: no Article 27 EU representative, no data protection officer, no published data processing agreement, and no named subprocessors, only categories. The publisher is established in Hong Kong and Hong Kong law applies.
Who owns the data?
Section 6.2 of the terms states that you keep all ownership rights, including copyright, in your Input, and that as between you and Seedynamic Limited you own the Output; the publisher assigns you any right it may hold in it, provided you comply with the terms. Section 6.3 nevertheless grants the publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, irrevocable and perpetual license over your content, bounded to four purposes: operating, providing, maintaining, improving and developing the service; security and integrity; legal compliance; and enforcement of the terms. Outputs are not unique: two users may obtain identical or similar results. Business users also license their name, logo and marks for reference purposes, revocable in writing at hi@seede.ai.
Reuse rights
The privacy policy describes a broad collection. Section 1 covers sign-up data (username, password, date of birth where applicable, email, phone), Customer Content, payment information handled through third-party providers, and support exchanges; sign-up through an Apple or Google account exchanges application credentials and a token. It also collects automatically the IP address, browser and user agent, mobile carrier, time zone, device identifiers including advertising ones, device model, operating system, network type and screen resolution, together with activity logs: pages viewed, time spent, access times, navigation paths, clicks, searches and referring URL. Approximate location is inferred from the IP address at country, region and city level; precise location requires permission. Section 2 lists the purposes: age verification, service delivery, support, transactions, security, compliance, and abuse and fraud detection, which includes analyzing and reviewing User Content and its metadata. Depending on your settings, your content may be displayed, recommended or promoted to other users. Section 3 states that personal information is not sold, but that data is shared with service providers (payment, hosting, analytics, marketing), with group companies, under legal obligation, in a merger or transfer, or with your consent. An earlier short version of the policy named Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and a Microsoft Clarity tag is present on every page collected.

Hosting summary
The site says almost nothing about where the data physically sits. Section 4 of the privacy policy states that information may be stored and processed on servers located outside your country of residence, and that affiliates and service providers in other countries may be involved. The only wording about security of location is generic: data is stored on secure servers. No hosting country, no region and no cloud provider is named anywhere on the site. For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, transfers are said to be covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum where applicable, and technical and organizational measures, but those territories are named as origins of transfer, not as hosting locations. On the technical side, and without being claimed by the publisher, the domain resolves to the IP address 76.76.21.98, geolocated in the United States on an anycast node; static assets are served from static.seedeai.com and the API from api.seede.ai. The publisher is established in Hong Kong and Hong Kong law governs the terms.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Seede AI.
- Credits are described in the terms as prepaid, non-refundable and non-redeemable, and they expire after 12 months with no extension or transfer; refunds are generally refused beyond seven days or once the service has been used
- An account can be suspended or terminated "with or without notice, at any time and for any reason or no reason", with possible and definitive loss of your content: the publisher guarantees neither the security, nor the availability, nor the preservation of Customer Content and refers you to your own backups
- The license granted to the publisher over your content is irrevocable and perpetual, even though it is bounded to four purposes; user content and its metadata are analyzed and reviewed for abuse detection, and your content may be displayed or promoted to other users depending on your settings
- Liability is capped at the greater of twelve months of payments and USD 50, with exclusive Hong Kong jurisdiction, a jury waiver and a class action waiver
- No hosting country is named anywhere, while the privacy policy announces international transfers, and no option to exclude your data from model training is documented
- The pricing page contradicts itself twice: the plan cards announce 2 workspace members on Free, 3 on Basic, 5 on Pro and unlimited on Ultra, while the FAQ on the same page announces 10 for Free and unlimited for Basic, Pro and Ultra; and the same page announces an entry price of USD 29 while an in-app upgrade screen announces "From $20"
- The Help Center states that collaboration features are not supported, while the help panel and all four plan grids advertise real-time collaboration; and the only payment methods shown, WeChat Pay and Alipay, may make the purchase impractical outside China despite prices quoted in USD
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for the end user. Nothing to install: Seede AI runs in the browser and the site insists no software has to be learned. An account is required for most features, created with an email address, Google or Apple. Onboarding is presented as four steps, Describe, Create, Improve, Export, and announced as doable in one minute, with keyboard shortcuts and tutorials in the Help Center. The optional developer route is more technical: create an API key, or connect through MCP from Cursor, Claude, VS Code or Codex, where the client tool handles the installation.

Should you pick Seede AI?
Seede AI answers a very concrete need: producing decent visuals when nobody on the team is a designer. Its strongest argument is not the AI itself but what it does with your words. The text you paste is kept word for word, and what comes back is an editable canvas rather than a picture you can only accept or discard. For marketing, HR, operations, teachers, creators and small businesses, that combination is genuinely useful, and the range of entry points (a prompt, a PDF, a Notion page, a website URL) makes it easy to start from material you already have.
The commercial model is unusually readable. A permanent free plan, then one-off credit top-ups at USD 29, USD 99 and USD 199, with no subscription to remember to cancel and no credit burned by manual editing or standard export. The catch is that credits expire after twelve months and the terms call them prepaid, non-refundable and non-redeemable.
The grey areas are on the legal and operational side. No data processing agreement, no named subprocessors, no Article 27 EU representative, no hosting country disclosed although international transfers are announced, and no documented way to keep your data out of model training. Liability is capped at USD 50 or twelve months of payments, disputes go to Hong Kong courts, and class actions are waived. Payment is limited to WeChat Pay and Alipay, which may simply block the purchase outside China. The pricing page also contradicts itself on workspace member limits and on the entry price, and the Help Center denies the collaboration features the plan grids advertise. The publisher is young: the domain was registered on 12/11/2024 and first captured by the Wayback Machine on 12/12/2024. Worth trying on the free plan; worth reading the terms before paying.
