GDPR overview
The privacy policy, dated 25 May 2026, names OpenWorld Technologies, LLC as controller and lists the expected rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, all exercised through info@sendfame.com. Section 8 states that the service is operated from the United States and that standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms apply where the GDPR requires them. Section 7 declares its biometric provisions intended to satisfy BIPA in Illinois, CUBI in Texas, the Washington Biometric Privacy Act and the GDPR, and demands consent both from the user and from every identifiable person appearing in an uploaded file. Section 13 adds a separate CCPA/CPRA block for California residents. What is missing matters: no Article 27 EU representative, no named DPO, no data processing agreement on offer, and no blanket claim of GDPR compliance anywhere on the site.
Who owns the data?
Section 6.2 of the terms gives generated content to the user: music, lyrics, images and videos are yours to use as you wish, commercially included, under a non-exclusive worldwide royalty-free licence, with SendFame retaining no ownership. The site itself, its texts, logos and software, stays with the publisher (6.1). Section 6.3 sends responsibility back your way: you warrant you hold the rights to every file you upload and you alone answer for derived outputs. Input prompts may be kept to improve models (§10). Biometric data is neither sold nor rented nor used for training (§7), and no personal data is sold for money (§5), though data can transfer in a merger or acquisition.
