TalentAdore Hire
TalentAdore Hire is a Finnish applicant tracking system whose AI assistant, Taika, drafts job ads, screens applications and keeps every candidate informed — including the ones you turn down. ISO 27001 certified, hosted entirely inside the European Union.
What is TalentAdore Hire?
TalentAdore Hire is a full-cycle recruitment platform published by TalentAdore Oy, a Finnish company registered in December 2014 and based in Kerava, near Helsinki. It combines three things the vendor has always sold together: an applicant tracking system, AI-assisted candidate communication, and workflow automation. The product is organised into six visible modules — the AI assistant, application screening, candidate engagement, talent attraction, talent community and advanced analytics — plus compliance and integrations.
The assistant is called Taika. It drafts job adverts, screens applicants, summarises interviews and prepares candidate messages, while the recruiter keeps the decision. That boundary is the company's stated position: the AI recommends and assists, a human decides. Settings let an administrator choose who may use which AI feature, and switch every AI feature off entirely.
The founding idea is narrower and more distinctive than "an ATS with AI bolted on". TalentAdore was built around the applicants who are not hired — the ninety-nine out of a hundred who usually get silence. It holds a patent on natural-language generation of personalised candidate feedback, granted after the 2016 launch and still used in the product. Screening ranks candidates by skills fit rather than credentials alone, and structured evaluation templates keep assessments consistent across a hiring panel.
Compliance is the second pillar. The platform is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified by KPMG IT Certification Ltd under certificate FI250120-181, data is processed inside the EU/EEA under a published Data Processing Agreement, and the vendor claims readiness for the EU AI Act, which classifies recruitment as high-risk. A named subprocessor list gives the processing country for each third party. A 98% uptime service level with service credits is written into the contract.
It is delivered as a web application only, with forty-four named integrations covering HR systems, job boards, assessment tools and recruitment marketing. There is no mobile app, and no published price: fees are agreed in an order form and invoiced annually.
What it does
- Publish a vacancy once and push it to job boards, social platforms and niche sites in a single click
- Rank incoming applications by skills fit and move them through the pipeline with automated workflows
- Send every applicant a personalised status update or feedback message, including those not selected
- Have the AI assistant Taika draft the job advert, summarise interviews and prepare candidate replies
- Build a talent community and fill a role from the existing pool without publishing an advert at all
- Track time-to-hire, volumes, hire quality and candidate experience, filtered by period, unit, user or role
- Run anonymous recruitment, video interviews and interview scheduling from the same workspace

When to use TalentAdore Hire
- Talent acquisition teams drowning in application volume, who need screening and candidate replies to happen without a person typing each one
- European employers bound by the GDPR and the EU AI Act, including public-sector bodies that must document how a hiring decision was reached
- Recruitment and staffing agencies juggling many clients and roles at once, who need one system per client without a separate tool per account
- Employers whose brand depends on candidate experience, and who treat the 99 applicants they reject as future customers rather than dead leads
- Nordic organisations that need a Finnish or Swedish interface and native links to Duunitori, Oikotie, TE-palvelut and Arbetsförmedlingen
When not to use TalentAdore Hire
- Anyone who wants to see a price before talking to a salesperson: there is no pricing page, no published range and no self-service sign-up
- Teams that need a month-to-month commitment, since fees are set in an order form and invoiced in twelve-month periods
- Recruiters who work primarily from a phone, as there is no native iOS or Android application anywhere on the site
- Developers who expect to read public API documentation before buying, because the interfaces are described only in the contract
- Organisations looking for a full HR suite covering payroll and personnel administration, which TalentAdore reaches through integrations rather than owning
How to use TalentAdore Hire

- Agree scope and fees in an order form, since no price is published anywhere on the site
- Work through onboarding with a dedicated specialist; most teams are said to be operational within a few weeks
- Migrate existing candidates, job postings and historical records with the vendor's migration service
- Configure workflows, templates, status messages and talent community settings, guided by two to six hours of video tutorials

Pros & Cons
Pros
- A verifiable ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate: named accredited body, certificate number, defined scope and a validity date running to January 2028
- The full Data Processing Agreement is published inside the terms, readable before any contact with sales
- The subprocessor list is public and detailed, naming each provider's role and processing country
- EU/EEA processing is a contractual commitment covering the service, its required subcontractors and customer support
- A quantified 98% uptime service level, with service credits and a right to terminate after repeated failures
- A patented, genuinely unusual commitment to giving personalised feedback to rejected candidates
- Forty-four named integrations, including the Nordic hiring ecosystem that generic ATS vendors rarely cover
Cons
- No public pricing of any kind: no pricing page, no range, no billing unit, so no comparison is possible without contacting sales
- Fees are invoiced in twelve-month periods and may be raised annually by the greater of 5% or eurozone inflation
- The site contradicts itself on integration cost — one FAQ says every plan includes integrations, another says all integrations carry an extra fee
- The /legal/security page promises ISO 27001 and audit detail in its title, but its body is a summary of the terms of service instead
- The privacy policy is a 2022 sales-and-marketing register description and does not cover candidate data handled by the product
- Nothing on the site states whether customer data trains the AI models, and no opt-out is documented
- No native mobile application, and no public API documentation despite APIs being described in the contract
Pricing & Plans
No price is published. TalentAdore does not operate a pricing page, and the site offers no amount, range or billing unit for any tier; the product FAQ describes the model only as "transparent, subscription-based pricing with no hidden fees" and directs prospects to request a custom quote. The terms confirm the arrangement: fees are defined in an order form, stated in euros and exclusive of tax, with the first twelve-month period invoiced on the effective date. Prices may be revised annually by the greater of 5% or the increase in the Eurostat HICP 20 EA index, on thirty days' notice. Integrations carry an additional fee, and any third-party subscriptions are separate. No permanent free plan is mentioned; a fourteen-day free trial with full access and no credit card is advertised in the product FAQ.
Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how TalentAdore Hire handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly and backed by unusually concrete documents. A complete Data Processing Agreement is published as Appendix 01 of the terms — no request needed — covering instructions, security, subcontractors, transfers, audit rights and end of contract. It states that all services, required subcontractors and customer support sit inside the EU/EEA. Transfers outside the EEA require fourteen days' notice plus standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. A named subprocessor list is public, with each party's role and processing country, and customers get fourteen days' notice before any addition, with a right to object and terminate. Customers may audit, on fourteen days' notice. A data protection contact is named. The vendor also holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022, certificate FI250120-181, issued by KPMG IT Certification Ltd and valid until 20 January 2028.
Who owns the data?
The customer keeps ownership. Under the terms, the customer retains title and all intellectual property rights in its Customer Data and Messages, and remains the data controller while TalentAdore acts as processor. TalentAdore receives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy and modify that data, but only to deliver the service or to develop it — the contract forbids any other exploitation. One clause is broader: anonymised and statistical data derived from Customer Data is granted to TalentAdore on an unlimited, perpetual, sub-licensable basis. On termination the customer may request a digital copy or a transfer, and written confirmation that the data was deleted.
Reuse rights
Within the platform the customer decides what happens to its own data: it controls which fields sync through each integration, who may access them and when updates occur, and it can export jobs and candidate records itself as XLSX, CSV or PDF from the interface, or take a full extract over SFTP. No permission request is needed for that. Two limits are worth reading closely. First, candidate data may only enter TalentAdore's own Talent Pool for future openings if the applicant gives explicit consent and the parties have agreed it separately. Second, TalentAdore keeps a perpetual right over anonymised and statistical data derived from customer content, which the customer cannot withdraw. Restoration or transfer work is billed at the current rate.

Hosting summary
Hosting is committed to the EU/EEA. The Data Processing Agreement states that all services, any required subcontractors and customer support are located and managed within the EU/EEA area, and customers may ask at any time where their data is processed. The public subprocessor list gives a processing location for each party: Amazon Web Services in Ireland and Germany for cloud service and storage, UpCloud in Finland for server backups, Timescale in Germany for cloud storage, and Montel Intergalactic in Finland for server administration. An independent check confirms it — the application host resolves to Amazon's eu-central-1 region in Frankfurt. Transfers outside the EEA are permitted only with fourteen days' notice and standard contractual clauses, or under an adequacy decision. Several optional subprocessors do sit in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including email, SMS, analytics and marketing tools, so the EU-only claim applies to the core service rather than to every optional feature.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting TalentAdore Hire.
- Pricing opacity is a negotiating position: with no public rate card, what you pay depends on how well you negotiate, and the annual indexation clause lets fees rise by 5% or inflation without you doing anything
- The fourteen-day free trial is advertised in a FAQ but appears nowhere else — not as a button, not in the contract — so treat it as a claim to confirm rather than a right you hold
- Screening that ranks candidates by fit can quietly become the decision itself: the vendor insists a human decides, but a busy recruiter who only ever opens the top of the list has delegated the choice without noticing
- Automated personalised feedback is the product's ethical selling point and also its reputational risk — a template that misfires sends a warm, individual-looking rejection that is visibly generic to the person receiving it
- Nothing on the site says whether your candidate data trains the models, and no opt-out is documented, so the question has to be settled in the contract rather than assumed
- The perpetual, irrevocable right over anonymised and statistical data derived from your content survives the contract and cannot be withdrawn later
- The Security page carries the wrong content and the privacy policy dates from 2022: do not rely on the site's own compliance pages as a current description of how candidate data is handled
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the customer, because the work is done with you rather than by you. There is nothing to install: the platform is a web application. Onboarding runs with a dedicated specialist who configures workflows, templates and messages, and the published responsibility matrix puts most configuration on the vendor, leaving the customer to validate and supply content. Training is two to six hours of video tutorials and guides, plus webinars. Most teams are said to be operational within a few weeks. Pre-built integrations activate quickly; custom ones are handled by the vendor's team. Data migration from a previous system is offered as a service.

Should you pick TalentAdore Hire?
TalentAdore Hire is a mature European applicant tracking system rather than a recent AI wrapper: the company was registered in December 2014, launched its first natural-language recruitment product in 2016 and holds a patent on personalised candidate feedback. Its distinctive claim is not speed but courtesy at scale — the deliberate choice to build around the applicants who are rejected, who normally receive nothing.
Its compliance file is genuinely among the better-documented ones. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate names its accredited body and certificate number and can be read in full; the Data Processing Agreement is published rather than promised on request; the subprocessor list gives a processing country for every third party; and EU/EEA processing is a contractual commitment, not a marketing line. A quantified uptime commitment with service credits reinforces the impression of a vendor used to procurement scrutiny.
The reservations are real and mostly commercial. Nothing about the price is public, the commitment is annual in practice, and prices may rise each year by inflation or 5%, whichever is higher. The site also contradicts itself in places worth checking before signing: integrations are described as included in one FAQ and chargeable in another; a fourteen-day free trial is advertised although no trial exists anywhere in the interface or the contract; and the page labelled Security displays a summary of the terms of service instead of any security content. The published privacy policy is a 2022 marketing register that says nothing about candidate data.
It suits European organisations handling real application volume, particularly in the Nordics and the public sector, that value documented compliance and are prepared to negotiate. It does not suit anyone wanting to compare prices, start on their own, or work from a phone.
