Overview

What is Traineron?

Traineron is a training platform published by TRAINERON Sp. z o.o., based in Rzeszów, in the south-east of Poland. It bills itself as a complete tool supporting coaches and athletesKompleksowe narzędzie wspomagające trenerów oraz sportowców — and is organised around three kinds of account: Trener (coach), Sportowiec (athlete) and Klub sportowy (sports club). A coach may hold an athlete account as well.

On the coach side you get a plan creator, the Kreator planów treningowych, and a configurator for assembling sessions; a library of plans and reusable templates; your own exercise database alongside the publisher's TRAINERON base of more than 1,000 exercises, each with an instructional video, a visualisation of the muscles engaged and the equipment required; then test exercises and scores, client groups and invitations, chat, a calendar, surveys, anthropometric measurements and injury records. Athletes see their current and completed plans, their results, their measurements, their injuries, their coaches and their purchases.

The AI layer is sold as Traineron AI: Korzystaj z algorytmów sztucznej inteligencji, aby tworzyć wysokiej jakości treningi i uzyskiwać lepsze wyniki. It covers session generation, multi-level advanced analytics, training and progress forecasts, anomaly detection and improvement recommendations. It is a genuine part of the product, but it is described on the home page and nowhere else — no documentation goes further.

The second distinctive piece is the Marketplace, or Sklep z planami, which the site claims is the only advanced training-plan marketplace in Europe. Coaches on the Premium tier sell their plans there, may expose a free Demo version at their own discretion, are paid the same day and are rated by buyers.

Twenty-five sport disciplines are covered, from running, bodybuilding, swimming, cycling, athletics and combat sports through to dance, sport shooting and firefighter training, including the Firefighter Combat Challenge. Technically, the site is a React single-page application served from traineron.com against an api.traineron.com back end, which also serves the terms, privacy policy, FAQ, blog and price list in the clear. The whole product is in Polish, prices are in PLN, and the project was co-financed by the European Funds to the tune of 976,612.25 PLN. The footer signs off: Made with heart in Rzeszów.

What it does

  • Build a training plan in the Kreator planów treningowych (plan creator) and share it with your clients.

  • Assign a plan and supervise its execution day by day through the training assistant, with automatic session notifications for clients.
  • Analyse progress after every session, alongside anthropometric measurements, personal records and test results.
  • Use Traineron AI to generate sessions and obtain forecasts, anomaly detection and improvement recommendations.
  • Sell your plans on the Marketplace with the Premium tier, and get paid the same day.

Audience

When to use Traineron / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Traineron is the right fit.

When to use Traineron

  • Independent personal trainers and strength and conditioning coaches who follow clients remotely and want plans, results, measurements and messaging in one place.
  • Coaches who want to monetise their programmes: the Premium tier opens the Marketplace, where plans are priced in zlotys and paid out the same day.
  • Sports clubs and academies, which get a dedicated Klub sportowy account to manage their own coaches (trenerzy) and athletes (zawodnicy).
  • Amateur and competitive athletes who want to log measurements, personal records, test results and injuries alongside the plan their coach assigns.
  • Coaches working in any of the 25 disciplines the platform lists, from home gym, bodybuilding, swimming and combat sports through to dance, sport shooting and firefighter training.

When not to use Traineron

  • Anyone who does not read Polish: there is no English version, the interface language is hard-coded to pl, and §12 of the terms states that communication takes place in Polish.
  • Teams that need a public API: no API documentation is published anywhere on the site.
  • Organisations that require a signed data processing agreement or a published subprocessor list: neither exists.
  • Users outside Poland who need billing in their own currency, since subscriptions and Marketplace plans are denominated in PLN only.
  • Coaches who need an installable mobile app right now: both store listings advertised on the site returned 404 on 31 August 2026.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • A genuinely permanent free tier: Starter costs 0 PLN with no time limit and no card, and still includes the plan creator, the client training app, a public coach profile and chat.
  • More than 1,000 exercises produced by the publisher's own team of experts, each with an instructional video, the muscles engaged and the equipment needed.
  • Broad sport coverage: 25 disciplines, from home gym and bodybuilding to combat sports, dance, sport shooting and firefighter training.
  • A built-in Marketplace lets a coach monetise plans without running an online shop, with payment received the same day.
  • Data hosting declared entirely within the European Union, and user content explicitly left to the user, with no use or publication without consent.
  • Legal documents, price list and FAQ are served in the clear by a public API, which makes the commercial and legal terms unusually easy to verify.
  • The company behind the tool is identifiable without ambiguity: KRS, NIP, REGON and registered address are all published on the site.

Cons

  • Polish only: the interface, the terms and support are all in Polish, the language is hard-coded, and §12 of the terms states that communication takes place in Polish.
  • Both mobile store listings advertised in the footer were dead on 31 August 2026 — Google Play com.traineron.traineronapp and App Store id1537567987 return 404, the latter also returning zero results in the iTunes lookup for the US and Poland.
  • No public API documentation, and no robots.txt or sitemap.xml either: every guessed URL returns the same 8,201-byte single-page-app shell.
  • Compliance tooling for organisations is absent: no DPA, no security certification or trust page, and the subprocessor list announced in the privacy policy is left as an ellipsis.
  • The privacy policy carries neither an effective date nor a version number, so its age cannot be established.
  • Subscriptions and Marketplace plans are priced in PLN only.
  • Loose ends elsewhere on the site: the presentation video linked from the home page hero (vimeo.com/529314611) returns 404, the routed Relacje inwestorskie page renders an empty container, and the registered postcode differs between the terms (35-084) and the Kontakt page and KRS entry (35-083).

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Traineron handles your data.

GDPR overview

Implementation is real but light. The privacy policy names the controller — TRAINERON Sp. z o.o., ul. Matuszczaka 14, Rzeszów — cites Regulation (EU) 2016/679 explicitly and lists the rights it grants: access and a copy in a commonly used format, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and a complaint to the supervisory authority. One channel handles all of them, biuro@traineron.com. Minors' data is processed with a legal guardian's consent, and for children under 13 the guardian carries out every step. Transfers outside the EEA to partners are possible, under an adequate country or Standard Contractual Clauses, and SSL encryption of exchanges is claimed. What is missing: no data protection officer is named, no data processing agreement is offered, and the policy carries neither an effective date nor a version number. No Article 27 representative is designated, which is normal for a company established in the EU.

Who owns the data?

The privacy policy states that information a user enters or imports remains that user's property, and that the publisher will neither use it nor make it public without the user's consent. The terms reserve every right over the System itself — its features, its service offering, its price list — to TRAINERON, but explicitly carve out the training plans, which belong to the users who wrote them. In return, §6 of the terms has the user grant the publisher the licence it needs to publish that content, plans and instructional videos included, inside the platform. Deleting an account removes all information attached to the user, except records administered by other users.

Reuse rights

Traineron collects a name or company name, an e-mail address, an IP address and browser information such as the referring page, the language and the time zone. It uses them to perform the contract and deliver the services, to invoice, to keep its records and to measure satisfaction. It also sends commercial content, a newsletter in practice, from which users can unsubscribe at any time, and it collects anonymous aggregated statistics that it may pass on and uses to improve the service. Financial data is out of scope: the publisher states it stores no card numbers or codes, ING Bank Śląski S.A. storing and processing them to execute payments. Internal access is limited to designated employees, the publisher cannot recover a user's password, and it undertakes not to monitor activity history except when resolving an incident. On the user's side, reuse is unrestricted: the content entered stays the user's property, no permission has to be asked to reuse it, and the GDPR section adds a right to obtain a copy of one's data in a commonly used format. Neither the terms nor the privacy policy say anything about training AI models on customer data — the subject is not raised at all, in either direction.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Data is kept for as long as the account exists, then for the period and to the extent required by law. A user can ask for deletion by e-mail at biuro@traineron.com; the publisher allows itself up to 7 days to remove the data from its own system, and up to 90 days for other systems, meaning backups and server logs. When a user deletes their account, all information attached to them is removed, except records administered by other users. The publisher also reserves the right to delete data irreversibly if the subscription goes unpaid. No anonymisation schedule is published; anonymous aggregated statistics are mentioned as a separate practice. The policy carries no effective date, so these periods cannot be dated.

Hosting summary

The privacy policy makes a single hosting statement: all data is stored by the publisher in secure hosting centres within the European Union ("Wszystkie dane przechowywane są przez Usługodawcę w bezpiecznych centrach hostingowym na obszarze Unii Europejskiej"). No country is named and no hosting provider is identified, so the declaration stops at the EU level. Transfers outside the EEA to partners remain possible, either towards a country recognised as adequate or under Standard Contractual Clauses. SSL encryption of the data exchanged is claimed. Payment data leaves the publisher's hands entirely: card numbers and codes are stored and processed by ING Bank Śląski S.A. The controller is established in Rzeszów and Polish law governs the contract. Two technical observations that the site does not claim, and which should not be read as publisher statements: media are served from traineronprod.blob.core.windows.net, an Azure Blob Storage endpoint, and the site's IP address resolves in Poland (185.204.216.13, AS41079 Cyber_Folks S.A., Poznań).

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Traineron.

  • The physical risk stays with the user: the terms exclude any liability of the publisher for bodily harm connected with carrying out a training plan, and Traineron AI generates sessions — a generated or purchased plan still deserves a qualified coach's judgement before anyone follows it.
  • Both mobile app listings advertised in the footer were dead on 31 August 2026 (Google Play com.traineron.traineronapp and App Store id1537567987 return 404, with zero results in the iTunes lookup for the US and Poland), so the mobile route the site and the terms promise could not be verified.
  • Other maintenance signals: the presentation video linked from the home page hero (vimeo.com/529314611) returns 404, and the routed Relacje inwestorskie page renders an empty container.
  • The privacy policy carries no effective date and no version number, so there is no way to tell how current it is or when it last changed.
  • The subprocessor list is announced and then left unfinished in the policy ("dostawcom usług IT, hostingodawcom, w szczególności: …."), while transfers outside the EEA to partners are permitted under an adequate country or Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Administrative details do not line up: the registered postcode is 35-084 in the terms but 35-083 on the Kontakt page and in the KRS entry, and the KRS entry declares the domain traineron.pl and the address biuro@traineron.pl while the site publishes biuro@traineron.com — traineron.pl no longer resolves.
  • Dispute handling favours the publisher: under §9 of the terms its decision on a complaint is final and a complaint is admissible for 12 months at most; and since the publisher is not a party to Marketplace sales, returns and guarantees have to be settled directly with the selling coach.
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low for a non-technical coach. Nothing is installed: Traineron is a web application, with a mobile app announced by the site. Registration takes three steps — the Zarejestruj button, choosing a Trener or Sportowiec account, then an e-mail address and a password — and Facebook or Google sign-in is available. No code, no API key and no technical configuration are involved. Club accounts are the exception: there is no self-service sign-up and you have to write to biuro@traineron.com. The real friction is linguistic rather than technical, since the entire product is in Polish.

Fundraising

No private funding round is published on the site, and none was found elsewhere.
Public funding: the /eu page states that TRAINERON Sp. z o.o. is running a project co-financed by the European Funds, with EU co-financing of 976,612.25 PLN, aimed at bringing to the Polish and foreign markets an innovative product that helps coaches and athletes achieve better results. This is a grant, not an equity round.
Share capital recorded at the KRS is 5,000 PLN, split into 100 shares held 60 / 20 / 20 between the three partners.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Traineron free to use?
Registration is always free. The Starter coach tier costs 0 PLN with no time limit and includes the plan creator, the training app for clients, a public coach profile and chat. There is no time-limited trial of the paid tiers: you simply move up to a bigger pack when you need more.
How much does a coach subscription cost?
Four coach tiers are published, all in PLN: Starter 0, Basic 99, Standard 199 and Premium 499 PLN per month. An annual commitment lowers the paid tiers to 79, 169 and 449 PLN per month respectively.
What is the difference between a coach account and an athlete account?
A coach builds plans with the configurator and the TRAINERON exercise base, follows their trainees and, on the Premium tier, sells plans. An athlete buys plans, contacts coaches and records results, measurements and limitations. Nothing stops a coach from also holding an athlete account.
How do I open a sports club profile?
Club accounts are not self-service. You e-mail biuro@traineron.com with the name of the club and the address you would like for it.
Can I try a plan before buying it on the Marketplace?
Only if its author has enabled a Demo version. That is each selling coach's decision rather than the platform's, so a demo is not available on every plan.
Which payment methods are accepted?
BLIK, payment card and fast bank transfer. Subscriptions are processed through ING Bank Śląski S.A. / imoje.pl or paid by bank transfer, and a VAT invoice is issued on request within seven working days.
Is Traineron available in English?
No. The product is published in Polish only, the interface language is hard-coded, and §12 of the terms states that communication with the publisher takes place in Polish.
Is there a mobile app?
The site and the terms announce apps for iOS and Android, but both store listings linked from the footer returned 404 on 31 August 2026, so the mobile route could not be verified. The web application works in any browser.
Where is my data hosted?
The privacy policy states that all data is stored by the publisher in secure hosting centres within the European Union. No country and no hosting provider are named. Transfers outside the EEA to partners remain possible under an adequate country or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Does Traineron offer a public API?
No API documentation is published. api.traineron.com is the product's own back end, which happens to serve the terms, the FAQ and the price list in the clear, not an interface sold to developers.
Conclusion

Should you pick Traineron?

Traineron is a solid niche product on its own market: Poland, sport, independent coaches and clubs. The plumbing is all there — a plan creator and configurator, a publisher-built library of more than 1,000 exercises with videos and muscle maps, a training assistant with session notifications, measurements, injuries, tests and scores, an integrated chat, and a Marketplace where a Premium coach sells plans and is paid the same day. Twenty-five disciplines are covered, from home gym to firefighter training.

The AI is real but peripheral. Traineron AI generates sessions and produces forecasts, anomaly detection and recommendations, yet it is described on the home page and nowhere else. Judge the platform on its training-management features first and treat the AI layer as a supplement.

What genuinely stands out is the entry point. The Starter plan is permanently free, needs no card, and still includes the plan creator, a public coach profile and chat. Traceability is the other strong point: KRS, NIP and REGON are published, the legal documents, price list and FAQ are served in the clear by a public API, and hosting is declared entirely inside the European Union.

The reservations are just as real. Everything is in Polish, which effectively shuts out anyone who does not read it. Compliance tooling for organisations is missing: no DPA, no subprocessor list beyond an unfinished sentence, no certification, and a privacy policy carrying no effective date. Maintenance signals deserve attention too, all checked on 31 August 2026: both mobile store listings return 404, the presentation video linked from the home page is gone, and the investor relations page renders empty.

For a Polish-speaking coach or club, trying it costs nothing and the paid entry point is 99 PLN a month. For everyone else, the language wall comes first.
